I think one of my biggest critics of the animation is that there are a lot of parts that move too quickly to the point where it doesn’t feel as smooth. I’m not sure if he utilizes a timing chart but it would greatly benefit him doing so. Especially where it feels like a shot needs to be a bit slower to convey what a scene is trying to convey. But he did it by himself without any direction besides the animatic. So this is really amazing! I love both of them! ❤️❤️
yeah I think logan could afford to take some creative liberty with the posing, because that was one of the jerkiest parts at times.
It's either he tried to keep the pace with the audio by making the frames more faster or he added more fps. If you compare animatic with animation, animation is always the faster one depending on how many fps you put, and how many duplicates of the same frame is there to make it seem slower.
I also feel like to lip sync was a little odd, it didn’t match up a lot of times.
@@necromarcy well its animation so I'm not really disappointed with anything. Since animation tends to be faster than the soundtrack or animatic
totally not a troll I see where you’re coming from, put the pacing just felt odd. It kinda felt like it was moving too fast just to match up with the frames changing in the animatic, which looks a little odd.
I can't fault him for the lighting but the speed of the animation was either to fast or to jerky, all of this can be fixed but I can definitely say that dramatic flair he's got shines in this animation and it is so fucking fantastic I can't word it properly
It's an okay adaptation. I feel they cod have handled the lighting better. I had too much trouble seeing it and found myself defaulting to your animatic to see what was happening

It’s just called criticism and I’m sick and tired of seeing this sentence being used when someone brings up a valid piece of criticism.

4:10 yup affirmative even in the climax i could feel that moment of the spells doing the classic and always emotional clash of powers with a end which hits me right in the feelings ^^
The animation is good. But is still very fast , paused, dark and the effects doesn't seems to be there .

Started tearing up again when she picked up Meteora, then placed her smiling baby back in her crib because we all know what will happen next.
The animation was amazing!!!!!
The animation is just amazing, specially with the effects like the powers that Eclipsa creates, it just fantastic the effort in it.
the only two issue i would say is the amount of darkness which makes a bit hard so to find Eclipsa in some scenes. That and the speed of the animation itself in Eclipsa, but besides this two things, the animation looks beautifully smooth and awesome i wish i could do something as great asthis.
Dude that last part with the magic effects made me tear up
that final shot gave me GOOSEBUMPS
The animation clearly has a lot of talent and hard work!
I am impressed that they used 3D with it. I think that they could have spaced out some frames of animation. The movements were very smooth and quick , and I think they could have benefited with having either some frames eased in and out to feel a bit more natural. I like the effects used! Even those could be turned into frames and have some removed to have it match too.

THE ANIMATIONS AFTER 3:44 WERE ALL EPIC ESPECIALLY THE BLAST
The final blast scene was INCREDIBLE
I feel the animatic is totally perfect, the animation has a lot of flaws like line art, colors and shadows BUT I admit that the glitter and bangs make them beautiful. I have no right to judge about the animation, as I don't know how to make one, but I do know that the colors and tones it uses are incorrect

Saying this now, his animation is like a cross between original 2D and high work 3D. I do see spots were it needs a bit more sanding, but to be simply and blunt. I LOVE IT ALL!

The animation, especially those effects are lovely, but there are some parts that they overdid it such as in 2:53. Personally, I would like to see the emotion and expressions of the character changing, but the effects were distracting. Same with 3:43, cant see the emotions being displayed. Still fantastic job though
I think everything about the animation recreation was AMAZING is just that some scenes are to dark that you can't see well the scene and other stuff but over all it's beautiful

I like certain parts of both of those and all I can think is that it would be even more awesome if they could work together on an animatic.

This is wonderfull, but I think that it was a little dark in some scenes, for example the part with the baby when they touch their forehead could be a little more lightning, and sometimes the animation decays a little, but this is really awesome, REALLY GOOD JOB, but I think that YOU CAN BE BETTER

I love your animatic, and the animation is really good. It’s just too bad most of it was too dark to see anything happening and then I would get blinded by the bright flashes of light from the flames or the ghosts. I see improvement from the last animation they did for your animatics.

I love both!!
People are complaining about how the animated version is a lot more faster to where it doesn't feel smooth. Because that is how animation is, when you compare animation to animatics, the animation is always the faster paced one since there are a lot of frames, not drawings. Animation is more complex, so I see why it's not as smooth as people expect it to be. In the end, I like both very much and don't see any problem with the both of them.

It's very well done and you can tell a lot of work went into it, but calling it an animation is being generous. It feels more like a more detailed and framed animatic still.

Only a few things. I personally would have slowed down her movements I understand the scene is supposed to be fast is IRL but as a musical number some of her actions was to fast. And the lighting is a little to dark for a glow but on the other hand the animation of the lighting and fire was amazing!
