Saw the show last night in Stockton and was blown away. The band was as tight as the proverbial ducks a… and Nad was in sparkling form with the vocals. As a massive Genesis fan it pains me to say that this show was better than the Genesis show currently doing the rounds (and far better value) awesome stuff lads you’ve made an old man very happy!
Steve and his great band great live and still keeping genesis live and his own stuff being seeing in genesis in 70.s and on his own always puts on a great show fine player got his own sound you no who it is straight away
LOL, out of the 7 times I have seen The Musical Box at this same venue, there was one time when we were waiting for the encore and a guy a few rows behind me shouted 'Sussudio'!! 🤣😂😁
That's because Steve and the band are not trying to reproduce the Seconds Out album - they are simply using it to supply the set list, but playing all the songs in full, kind of as recorded on the studio albums, but enhanced,.They are not a tribute band...
Just remember, this isn't a Genesis tribute band. They are making these songs their own. Rob Townshend adds greatly to the sound. He needs to be there, even if just for his bass pedal work.
I have to admit, it's not my favourite by a long way - but I guess it has to be included, given the premise of this particular tour (and the last one). Having said that, I enjoyed it on the last tour.
Steve's a top bloke and has been keeping the best of Genesis alive for years.
Can't wait to catch him again in the states next spring.
He sure is, an absolute gentleman when you meet him too.

I will be there May 15th in Oakland......looking forward to this show.
Great performance as usual and thank you for sharing

Very Cool! Nad is the perfect mixture between Collins and Gabriel.
Yeah, I always thought that too!
Some very negative comments
about him here I've had to delete....
Can't wait for glasgow show on 27/9/21 seconds out one of the most underrated live albums in my opinion
You're in for a treat!
You won't be disappointed for sure.
Come on ... tomorrow is the day 😉
@@annapaolagrandini1052 yes bloody well exited now bring on the musical box and play me old King Cole until my suppers ready
@@MrNEILSUPERNAUT a treat was an understatement what a fantastic show in Glasgow you could hear a pin drop when suppers ready was played

Not the end with The musical Box ending like in Seconds Out ?!!! :(

This stage setup sure does NOT look anything like the Seconds Out Stage. First of all, get rid of Rob Townshend!
Just remember, this isn't a Genesis tribute band. They are making these songs their own. Rob Townshend adds greatly to the sound. He needs to be there, even if just for his bass pedal work.
Why get rid of Rob Townsend - he is an integral part of Steve's band's sound. As Paul West says, this is not a tribute band.
It's Steve's and bands show doing genesis stuff not a genesis lighting show robs good been with him for years adds a bit of difference
I love Steve Hackett but for some reason, I dislike the song I Know What I Like. Don't know why. I just find it long and boring.
I have to admit, it's not my favourite by a long way - but I guess it has to be included, given the premise of this particular tour (and the last one). Having said that, I enjoyed it on the last tour.
I think it was to showcase the amazing talent of the sax player who really stole the show with his virtuosity he was brilliant!
