Nad is not Peter Gabriel but he does a bloody good job. We are luck to have him, and Steve and all the other musicians. Who would have thought all these decades on we would be privileged to here this amazing, emotive music played live again? Be grateful, we will never see the likes of them again.
I cannot wait for this September 2021 at the Palladium in London. Flying from San Francisco just to see my fav Steve Hackett and his fantastic band. Yes!
Great Bass. Nad is the an excellent hybrid Gabriel/Collins voice. Again, thanks to Steve Hackett for being the keeper of the flame for Classic Genesis.
Grupazo !!!!
I've never seen this version before. I love it! Just about to submit a potential text in response to a call for book chapters on this album re an academic book on prog!
Just amazing. Steve Hackett is an amazing musician. And Nad Sylvan what can you say. I'm watching Nad and just keep picturing Gene Wilder. LOL!! Freaky. I can see if they ever do a remake of "Young Frankenstein" they can cast Nad!! What a great song!!
Title-track from the sixth and the best Genesis album for many fans (not for me). Last album with Peter Gabriel, was the end of the classic line-up - Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Mike Rutheford and, of course, Mr. Steve Hackett.
Ronnie Stolt on bass guitar. Simply amazing writer, performer, singer, guitar player. Yet here he picks up the bass and just whacks everyone with some thunder..... Oh yeah! :)
I'll be honest , I wasn't totally sold on Nad about some other songs he did , don't kill me , I am certainly no hater, he does have a great voice but I just didn't think he was as good as the original Peter, that's all , probably because in certain songs no one could ever be . BUT ..In this one Nad is truly a power source , really deep layered voice which doesn't let you regret Peter . Not on this one . Truly amazing.
Someone help me out. Is this Nad Sylvan singing? If it is then why are there so many videos saying he is singing on them but it is the drummer singing?
I think I see the problem. On the tours the singing is shared between both so Nads name appears as vocals on the video description even when he does not sing on that particular song.
Where was Nad when Genesis picked Ray Wilson to join them. They'd have been better off having him. I honestly think Steve Hackett should call his band Genesis since he's the only one who cares to carry the torch on
Line Up (on thie recording): Steve Hackett - Guitar, Vocals Roger King - Keyboards Nad Sylvan - Vocals, Tambourine Gary O'Toole - Drums, Percussion, Vocals Rob Townsend - Saxophone, Woodwind, Percussion, Vocals, Keyboards, Bass Pedals Roine Stolt - Bass, Variax, Twelve String, Vocals, Guitar
Frankie Fresh if you want to see a horrible crowd. You should see the Genesis live earth set. The audience there sucked so hard that I'm surprised Phil Collins didn't just walked off stage
You go Nad, it's a nad too fast, I mean the tempo, Just a bit, some of the the rhymes don't quite work at this speed, perhaps a click track in the cans, y know, like maybe the drummer, 6 bpm slower, would complete the recipe, get my drift Steve?
Still can't get my head around why Steve has this guy singing, ruins the whole damn thing, I also wish Rob Townsend would keep still, so irritating. I wonder if Steve asked Peter to come along to any of these shows and sing the odd track?
Nad's vocals on this are absolutely brilliant. The whole band is wonderful.
Nad is so brilliant! He can capture both Peter and Phil!
Do you mean Phil the drummer? Phil only came in to play with cheesy love ballads and the crap songs after peter Gabriel
@@bertsmith7940 oh here you are... we missed you, old windbag!

Check out Unifaun. Nad at his best. 😊

Seen steve nine times his members of his band are second to none would like to know how he finds them always excellent
Spot on

''Nad is not Peter Gabriel'' He doesn't need to be!
Nad sounds like a mix of Peter and Phil....so good in his own right. Love the Hackett band.
Peter Collins or Phil Gabriel.
@@FukiMakai Phil Gabrielesis.
Steve Hackett is the living spirit of Génesis.
Let's not forget props to Roger King on keys for this beautiful music arrangement! 😎✌

Nailed it...Hackett has always been underrated. Great musicians
Nad is truly awesome!
Nad Sylvan is fantastic...
Agreed with everyone here - quite nicely done, and the vocals are great.
This is a great band playing a masterpiece. Brilliant ☀️
Takes me back to the best live show i ever saw by Genesis. Great version
Love it! Singer sounds great
Awesome! They love producing great music, nice to see the synergy coming together!
Nad's a bloody marvel & such a charismatic performer.
Perfectly done! I really need to go see Hackett again!

Awesome seeing nad and roine on stage with Steve! Great video!!!
Never get tired of this!!!!!!!
This is a great line up of Hackett musicians. 👍🏽👊🏽
nad is soooo good
Just amazing
Impresionante Nad Sylvan! Te amamos!
Nad really sounds like Peter Gabriel in this!
Better
This is excellent!
Was lucky enough to be there myself and it was a fabulous gig...so happy it's now on DVD for me to watch!!! Again and again!
Most excellent Lamb on Broadway well done !

Pater Gabriel sounds like Nad ...not the other way around . man is he ever good , thank God this music is still being made.
Not as good as the original, Gabriel is the one and only for this track
So Fantastic
Nad Steve and everyone 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
So glad Steve found Nad, not to mention the rest of the band, surrounded by talent.
Has to be one of my Favourite Genesis songs, and this is a fantastic version - I think Nad nails it superbly !!!

perhaps not their greatest album but a stunning unforgettable live show
Most artistic and pepper sequence for Genesis...there most confidant playing record...Gabriel’s masterful image laden album...

Truly amazing.
Ace drumming by Gary O'Toole.
Antonio D'Silva He is excellent! You can just tell he is having a blast playing this music. He exudes “FUN” on Cinema Show in particular.
I like how they capture the true spirit of the lamb lies down on Broadway, I may have some issues with Nads voice in places but it’s not that bad
great cover of a great tune!!!l
Wow the vocal voice very idententic with peter.
No
❤❤❤❤
EPIC.
Fantastic
Fucking Awesome !!
Awesome.
lo amo da sempre
Who is the singer?
I close my eyes and there's PG ...
Nad Sylvan. Wonderful musician.
Yes, in your dreams...
The nose plug at 1:45 is great.
NAD IS MORE THEN GOOD HE IS GREAT
He is a genius :-) x
Wow !!!
very nice timetravel
The job of Roger King is great 👍
Il più bel disco dei Genesis
...!!! Roine Stolt on bass?!?
that's what I thought too
YES it is, he toured as bassist that year.
Lee Pomeroy
that is not Lee Pomeroy or Nick Beggs.... definitely Roine Stolt
also....Lee Pomeroy is a left handed bass player
Nice to work in some George Benson at the end!!!
George benson was doing a cover dont remember who's song
sounds like the eagles, with the band singing!!!!!!!!
clever ending, almost thought they werent gonna do the outro
I love all of Hackett's stuff. If I can make 1 criticism, the drummer doesn't drum or sing enough like Phil imo
Someone help me out. Is this Nad Sylvan singing? If it is then why are there so many videos saying he is singing on them but it is the drummer singing?
On this video, it is Nad singing. Not sure about other performances.
I think I see the problem. On the tours the singing is shared between both so Nads name appears as vocals on the video description even when he does not sing on that particular song.
I've seen them live on this tour, Nad sings most of the Genesis songs, the drummer only sings a few of them.
Nad doesn't sing Steve's music.
I was actually looking for Nad singing "Fly On A Windscreen" but it seems only the drummer sings that one. Not sure why.
Gives Gary O'Toole a chance to do a lead vocal of his own. He also does "Blood on the Rooftops" on "Genesis Revisited II".
wait- is that Roine Stolt on bass???
yeah man! and he's having a great time lol
The singer seems my aunt joking to sing "the lamb", no extension, no grit
Where was Nad when Genesis picked Ray Wilson to join them. They'd have been better off having him. I honestly think Steve Hackett should call his band Genesis since he's the only one who cares to carry the torch on
Pour Didier Bournel
Graaf de Reims .France
The lamb lies down on broadwaky
Bass Player is Geddy Lee Doppelganger!
Roine Stolt is quite a guy, but a tall and lanky guy. His band is also incredible
the bass player is...?
That looks like Roine Stolt. Not sure...
It's Roine Stolt.

Vocals not a patch on Collins (or Gabriel).
All talented. , but no one plays the intro just quite like Tony... Great version though
Roine
I love peter and Phil, but I think that Nad is better!!!
Singer has a good voice, but what's up with that face makeup? He looks like Dee Sniders mom.
You mean that isn't Dee Snyder's mom?
Made my day 😂

Sorry guys I just can't listen to nads vocals. It sounds too nasal for me. For my ears is sounds terrible.
you must despise Neil Young Huh?
