looks like you have a little light bar in there? what is that and where does it tie into the electronics? i would love to do a tron inspired shell with some candy and no backing paint at some point and see if the light would come through.
The blade will cut into the body a little but not enough to do any damage. I don't press that hard. I always keep my exacto blade really sharp so I don't have to press too hard. It is challenging to work inside a car body. Just be patient.
I notice most people leave the windows clear, is this a thing? I think it would look cool with “window tint” as we do in our real cars. Is window ti ting frowned upon for any reason?
Nice work, if i was using the same colours, i personally would have gone from green to yellow with a drop shade of fluro white to make it pop. The metallic black looks insane, nice touch around the inside of the window frames. 👍
You make that look very easy, but I've tried many times to do just basic masking, and it never works as well as this. Can I ask, do you just use basic masking tape for your painting? And when to apply the paint, how many coats do you apply to the body for each step (main colour and fade) I'm wondering if I'm missing something? Thanks. Those flames look awesome. 😎👍🏻
Thank you. Yes, I use basic masking tape. As far as the coats go it depends on the color. Black doesn't take as much to cover obviously. It pretty self explanatory just apply thin coats until you have full coverage.
Cracking job, very labour intensive 😯 so you wouldn’t want to have to do it to often.
Thanks for sharing 👍👏👏👏
Beautiful paint job! It looks awesome
chrome around the windows looks awesome. I was hoping to see some chrome around the Lights and some Red/orange lenses.
Looks really good, the chrome around the windows is a nice added detail, thanks for sharing your processes for painting 😎
Thank you , sir.
Looks awesome man, great vid
AmaIng work. Looks super sick! Great work!
Thanks!
@@theetonster I had a question. When you’re scoring the inside does it matter if you hit the plastic? Are you trying as much not too?
@StingyWitDinero it does score the plastic a little, but the bodies are so thick it doesn't matter.
The chrome around the windows looks awesome just adds to the detail.😎
Thank you!
Wow awesome vid Tony your bodies always look great.

Awsome vid Tony thanks for showing the process do you paint for customers thanks 🔥💯👍🏾
Thanks. No, I don't paint for customers.
Late to the party but how did you stop the small blade from making a cut line in the body also , I struggle personally , great job though

It's just a personal preference. I put an LED light behind the windshield of my speed run cars so I can see them better from a long distance.
@@theetonster it would be helpful to see the lights on esc also
Is their any other type of spray paint or even normal paint I can use to do this? I just can't really afford to buy 12 cans of this stuff lol
Not really. It's paint especially for lexan. And this was using only 4 different colors. Traxxas paint is cheaper and is more bang for your buck.

Good thing you didn't do it then bud.

Are you waiting the amount of time stated on the cans between coats? I feel like I spend 5 times as long because of waiting between coats.
how can I get you to paint my car I’m very interested
Sorry, I only paint bodies for myself.
@theetonster well do you know anyone else who does I mean I'm will to pay for this I have the body as well I just want that same way you did it....
No, I'm sorry I don't.
That looks awesome!!! Earned a sub from me!
Thank you.
@@theetonster Yessir!!
An explanation would have been awesome instead of music
So this is what you are doing while I'm next door working?
Yes! You finally watched it. Lol
Painting my rc body Please
