Hi. I’ve never done Rush. Do you get yours the day of at the box office, or via a website or app? I know TodayTix offers rush, but I’ve typically been using TDF which is Theatre Development Fund.
Does anyone know if by becoming a member (the basic $85) you have priority at rush tickets? Or if the benefits are worth it for any plan? Thank you so much! PS: I’m not rich 😂
Hi Alex. Here’s a link for info about the TDF membership. They’re offering a $7 discount now (membership usually $42). I’d say it’s worth it. The seats are usually pretty good, mostly in the orchestra (L or R). TodayTix is another option, but I tend to get tix through TDF. Maybe someone with more experience using TodayTix (or another site) can share their thoughts. TDF link: www.tdf.org/discount-ticket-programs/tdf-membership/tdf-membership-qualifications/
Yes, only at the very end when everyone else is applauding or also recording. Never during a performance (or else an attendant will promptly remind you )
@@alexmendez9627 The end of the performance is the time for applause to thank the singers and musicians. Now imagine everyone is filming instead, I am sure you will see the problem...
I love Lincoln Center - so beautiful day or night!
This was so relaxing- why this hasn’t got more attention is beyond me.
Appreciate that thanks 🙏🏼
What is it TDF? Have you ever tried Rush Tickets? It's only $25 and it is always orchestra, great seats

Any seats under the overhang at the Met are no good…worst sound quality in the house
True. I wonder if this is the only option for the Met from Theatre Development Fund.
Were you filming instead of applauding the artists? Is it allowed?
Yes, only at the very end when everyone else is applauding or also recording. Never during a performance (or else an attendant will promptly remind you )
