Luke Landric Leonard is an American director, actor, playwright, and artist. His critically acclaimed opera, theatre, and film productions have been seen in Australia, England, Italy, and the United States and have been described as "outstanding" by The New York Times. Luke is Assistant Professor of Experimental Media and Performance at Seoul Institute of the Arts, and the Artistic Director of Monk Parrots in NYC.

I personally think those types of seats are the best seats. You can see it all from there. I feel like being up close is just, well, too close. You can't really get the full picture from sitting up close

Hi Alex. Here’s a link for info about the TDF membership. They’re offering a $7 discount now (membership usually $42). I’d say it’s worth it. The seats are usually pretty good, mostly in the orchestra (L or R). TodayTix is another option, but I tend to get tix through TDF. They came to Chicago yesterday and I was their they said to Hamilton.do you will not be the President and that’s all I can say
I watched the show in July in London and for some reason my school decided to book seats at the very top of the theatre. This meant that when any of the cast were on the balcony thing I could only see the lower half of them.
Bummer! Unfortunately, some theaters have seating with obstructed views. Do you remember the name of the venue?

Are you able to just walk in the theaters to the lobby without tickets?😭
Typically you enter the building and pick up your tickets at the Will Call window. Then, the usher scans your ticket and you enter an area with concessions and restrooms. Some houses have concessions inside of the theater auditorium. For Broadway, when it’s showtime, you’ll pass security before entering the building, and you can pick up your tickets inside at Will Call. You will, of course, need a ticket to enter the theater auditorium and access concessions and restrooms. Hope that is helpful.

Yes, only at the very end when everyone else is applauding or also recording. Never during a performance (or else an attendant will promptly remind you )

Unpopular opinion, but I just didn’t like Hamilton at all :/

TBH it was a bit of a mystery. My wife played the Ham4Ham lottery consistently but never won. Then, she received a “lottery loyalty” email offering her discounted tickets. My guess is that if you play the Hamilton lottery regularly (sign up via the Hamilton website), then you’ll be added to their lottery loyalty program and receive discounted offers when they roll around. I hope that helps.
I went on a trip with my friends at the exact same place. I was 2 rows up. That’s so cool. There’s not much leg space and I’m 5’3 lol

@@lukelandric Are you allowed to move seats when they're available at the theatre(as indicated by your last comment)? I thought that's only for when you go to the movies, whereas in a play you have to stay in the seat you bought your ticket for.
My family is seeing it live at the Richard Rodgers theater tomorrow! My sister in particular the most excited…we’ll see how it goes!

What is it TDF? Have you ever tried Rush Tickets? It's only $25 and it is always orchestra, great seats
Hi. I’ve never done Rush. Do you get yours the day of at the box office, or via a website or app? I know TodayTix offers rush, but I’ve typically been using TDF which is Theatre Development Fund.

Not this time. The row we moved to (in front of us but center) was pretty empty. It’s better to ask; otherwise, it could be embarrassing to find out you’re in someone’s seat. I typically don’t change seats and think this was a first. But the row was empty from the start, so we were pretty confident no one was sitting there. It’s a good thing to consider, whether it’s okay to move seats and the best approach to doing so.
i went to the east coast for a school trip and we were able to see the show in nyc. the show was amazing with great voices. it was a great experience
I went there too. I was 2 rows up from where this guy is. It was so fun but the schedule was so cramped that we were sleep deprived

Definitely best live when you get the chance. If you play the Hamilton lottery, I think they automatically set you up for the “lottery loyalty” offer once you enter to play, or after you’ve played it consistently. Good luck!
