I also have (and love!) the Doll 10 Makeup Molly Set and the BH Marble Collection from Ulta, as well as the Colourpop Brush Roll. But I also want to add in the new Profusion brushes! I don't think they're at Walmart yet but you can get them on their site. They're $4 each and really soft...I've been loving them! Also the Flower Beauty Blush Precision brush (I think it's only on their site) is my FAVORITE blush brush ever. It's the perfect size and super fluffy.

Those are all the brushes Ill ever need (even though I have tons of other brands lol; I dont even want to use other brushes anymore)

Ashley Hobbs really? I think that’s one of my least favorite sets. You need to try the marble luxe! Every single brush set I have, I purchased on a 50% off sale from the bh website
I find such great stuff at TJ Maxx. I got the Laneige lip sleeping mask for $13 about a month ago, and I can always find a four pack of the Real Techniques sponges for like $10. And I always buy my hair dryers and styling brushes there.
Not sure if this has been mentioned in your comments yet, but TJ Maxx and Marshall's almost always has BH Cosmetics/Elf/Ecotools brushes and brush sets. I got my sister in law an 11 piece Elf brush set for Christmas from Marshall's and it was either $9.99 or $11.99!
Waite for a sale at Ulta. I bought the eye set of Real techniques brushes for $10. The package with face brushes and one sponge was also for $10. I regretted i didn't buy that one as well.
Honestly, I only use like 6-7 brushes total. So spending $10 on one or two could greatly improve my kit, and be reasonable. But some people have like 20 brushes and that would be ridiculus.
I have an eco tools bronzing brush that I have been using for like 10 years and it still looks as good as new. Love their brushes as well as real techniques 💜💚
Thank you so much for doing this video. I need new brushes and was eyeing the Colourpop ones but wanted to watch some reviews first. Seeing that you like them gave me the go ahead to order them ❤
You have to try shop miss A/ AOA studio brushes!!!, their charity animal eye brush set is really good! I also love their sponges, but my favorite brush on their site is the E141 crease blending brush!!! you should defenitly check them out!!!
Agreed, Hannah!! I own the pink set and the black one as well. Love their quality and their “built into the price” containers. And knowing that some of their cost also goes to a pet charity? Major plus!!
Connie Martin agreed! I love so many of their products but their brushes are for sure a stand out! And I think the paw paw charity lines are a great idea!!!
E.l.f. is my favorite brand. I don't particularly enjoy their white line of brushes. The black ones are all my eyes can see. I do like the clear line but she's fancy. Also, I worry that one day the bristles will be permanently stained. With the black line, there's never a concern of it. And they dry so quickly. Sigh. I love e.l.f. They make me feel pretty on a budget that works for me. Great video! Now time to try the other recommended brushes.
I just received the $85 Colourpop brush set today and it looks awesome! They look and feel a lot as nice as my high end expensive brushes. I got the 12 pc set for $30 on sale! All of their brushes are on sale right now. And it's free shipping for orders totaling $35 or more so I added the flat kabuki face brush that's on sale for $5 and my shipping was free. It's still on sale now if anyone's interested. It's a great deal! Thank you Andrea for the recommendation and thank you to the subscriber that announced recently that it's on sale. The shipping took awhile but it was worth the wait. I want to get the Doll 10 set to try out also. I can't wait to try these Colourpop brushes out! These are the first ones I've owned. I probably wouldn't have ordered them if it hadn't been for this video and the post about it being on sale so Thank you! ❤
I have several bh brush sets. I have given them for presents. Never had any issue w any of them. They make such nice brushes. I did just buy a few eye brushes from Profusion. They are super well made. Love them!! I want to try a few more! The eye brushes will be coming to Walmart in March I believe.
I love the black handle elf brushes. The BH Cosmestics brushes are good too, I have the Rose Gold collection. I agree, that one works best with powders. The of course RT Brushes are just a staple to start out with. I have a few of those as well. But the real surprise is the Sephora Pro brushes. I love those brushes. They go on sale quite a bit so when I see it and I don't have that one I'll get it. They are great quality.
I have to say that I really love the RT brushes out of all the ones I've owned. Mind you, I haven't tried a lot of brands. I tried Eco Tools and I wasn't really impressed with them. I'm not rough with my brushes but you would think otherwise because of how they look...especially after I wash them. What do you think about Sigma brushes? Would they be a good buy? I hope you have a great rest of your week!!
@@GretchenVaughn Thank you! I've been tempted to get a few for some time but just haven't gone for it yet. I'm thinking I should. I hope you have a great evening!

Loved this video! Thank you!! What do you do when you go on vacation? Do you have a travel set of brushes or do you just take certiAn ones? How do you pack your make up when you go on vacation or just over night. I need some ideas! I am constantly on the go once I leave the house I am gone all day. Work gym out with the girls.
Have you guys tried Zoeva brushes? They're super high quality and while they are more expensive than BH for example they are 4 or 5 times better quality and last a lot longer- they make beautiful presents as well I feel. The ones I have bought perform so well and feel beautiful to use. Curious to know if you all have tried some?
Been waiting for this video! I always wonder which ones are the best to get and not get ones that aren't working well. Thank you so much for going over the different brushes! 💕
I was watching something else and then my puppy tapped on this to get my attention. Or he has good taste! My favorite drugstore brushes are Colourpop, especially the Tapered Blending Brush. Real Techniques Setting and Blush Brushes are my other favorites. I reach for the elf Ultimate Blending Brush, the Perfectly Precise Smudge Brush and the OG white handle elf Smudge Brush.
GretchenVaughn Oh my gosh I love that so much! 😂🥰💗 I LOVE the ColourPop tapered blending brush too. I’m with you on your elf and Real Techniques choices too! 😍
My synthetic brush collection is mostly made up of Real Techniques & It Cosmetics brushes(eyes). I've had some of my RT brushes more than 10 years & they are still working/looking great. I've actually bought multiples of the setting & blush brush 🖌. Even now that I've mostly moved on to higher end bruhes there are still RT brushes I use every time I put on makeup & I haven't found their equivelant in size/shape/performance in any other brush I tried to dupe them with. 💖 I've also had really good luck with a brand called Aesthetica. I own a brush set & sponges from them & am very pleased. They are available on Amazon.
I recently tried some bh cosmetics brushes (v1 blush & v3 slanted contour) and I love them. The quality is so good. I do want to try real techniques and Colourpop brushes.
In Mexico we have a brand from sally beauty, if you ever get the opportunity to come I HIGHLY recommend them. The woman who made them has even said they are the same fibers that it cosmetics uses 😗
I’m obsessed with those E.L.F Precision brushes and the Wet n’ Wild brush sets that come out during the holidays!! Those Doll 10 brushes look amazing, as well..I’ll definitely have to check them out!! Great video..thank you for sharing all of your favorite affordable brushes with us!! Hope you have an amazing weekend. Love you, Andréa!!❤️😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
There are so many after Christmas brushes set on sales at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I think Jan-Feb are great time to grab some brushes set for a whole year! I got mine BH set for 4 bucks.
I have the 19 pc elf brush set, the eye brushes have very pokey bristles. The face brushes aren’t bad but if you have a sensitive eye area stay away from the black elf eye brushes.
The metal rose set she talked about is fabulous, as well as the marble luxe set. A lot of their brush sets are good but have a less luxe, more plasticky feel, but those 2 feel like money
@@juliemirous2714 I have the Studio Pro #18 for face highlighter and the #6 for my crease. I also just bought the Vegan #5 and #19 which are pretty similar blending brushes (the #5 is smaller and denser), but I already love them! Do you have any to recommend?
Andréa Matillano I am sure I will love them, I loved the sponge based on your recommendation so I am very hopeful on the brushes. I did purchase the Ecotools powder brush, which I love, but it does shed quite a bit and I have only washed it once. So that was disappointing.
AliExpress/eBay for cheap brushes that are good, and almost all of them are synthetic bristles! I understand people not wanting to get makeup from China, but brushes aren't something you have to worry about, especially since you're going to wash them before using. Jessup and Beili are two awesome brush brands. They both also have natural hair brushes if you're like me and just can't get synthetic bristles to blend your eyeshadow
I might have to check them out! I love my BH Lavender Luxe set. I also love my ELF brushes, I agree the precision brushes feel very high end. I only have a couple of RT brushes - the Instapop Eye Duo (which I love). I have the Ecotools Custom Match Duo that came with a mixing palette - I adore that set. All in all, I agree 100% with your recommendations! :)
I agree BH cosmetics makes some very good brushes but I did recently buy some BK Beauty brushes at the recommendation of a vlogger, and they are amazing. I use that E.L.F. precision set huge brush to blend bronzer but I don't think the material stays quite nice enough to make stuff seamless.
Thank you so much for this video Andrea!! I love brushes and am really excited to try your recommendations. It's good to know that there are plenty of affordable options😊
After watching all the way to the end of this video. I think I’m going for the Elf set , since I’m new into makeup and don’t have any brushes yet . What do you guys think 🤔 or can you recommend me another set that has everything that I’ll need to do my make up and are good quality as well . Anyone idea ??! 😂🤔
Makeup Geek eye brushes, Real Techniques and Bdellium Tools are some of my favorites. And I have bought back-ups of these as well. (and I do have some Sigma and Artis that I love, those are pricier, but have lasted me forever!)
I found a Luxie brush set at Winners and I love them! It was a small eye brush set (i.e. perfect for my small hooded eyes)! They're decent and I'm happy with them.
Ecotools launches great sets with more brushes in them during the holiday season! I bought a set 2 years back and it came with 10-12 brushes and a sponge too 🥰 even got it on clearance!!
I use the quo beauty makeup diamond brush set it has a foundation brush, bronzer brush, Two eye shadow brushes, and a blush brush. I got it for about 25 dollars at a drugstore
For the holidays last year elf release a 4 piece brush set for $10.00 the cotton candy 4 piece face & eye brush set which of course was limited edition I was lucky enough to find it at Target on Black Friday last year and get it for $7.00 and I even bought my friend a set for Christmas
Can u recommend a good brush for cream blush? I have elf small stipple brush and regular stipple brush. R those any good or do u know a better affordable one?
Docolor brushes are soooo high quality and also afordable (they cost about as mutch as those frome BH cosmetics) and they have really nice designs and they perform really, really good. I honestly love them more than I love real techiniques makeup brushes! The brand is also cruelty free and you can also find them on Pink Panda website.
I have the Pool Side Chic brushes from BH, the ones with the metal in blue and the handle in white. I love them, I'm just sad that I had them with the hairs up on a cup when they were wet when I was washing some of them and I think that I had the standing up on a lipstick organizer while drying because I couldn't manage a nice place at the time and the outside white paint started to crack, I know that plastic is not good for our planet but I have Essence eye brushes, ones are in a wood handle, others are plastic and I see the difference. Also Ecotools is a brand that I love!
What do you think of the Sonia Kashuk Professional line of brushes? Their individual brushes are $6 - $12 each and their eye set is $25 and their face set is $50. They feel really nice and I am thinking of buying a few, but there aren't very many reviews on them. They're available at Target, so idk if you can buy them, but I'd love to see a more recent review of the brushes.
I can't decide on a favorite brush brand. I think elf, colourpop, ecotools, and real techniques make amazing brushes. I also love my sigma brushes and it cosmetics brushes despite the higher price tag
I feel stupid but even after looking for info on the web, I still don't know how to choose brushes for liquids vs. brushes for powders. It doesn't usually say on the packaging. Is there a general rule or guideline?
I like your video, you are a professional describing the brushes. I have a question, in my country I can find ecotools and real techniques. I would like to invest in face brushes. Would you recommend to me better real techniques instead of ecotools? Thanks. Greetings from El Salvador.
Hi our real techniques do complete new limited additions, but are very nice in fact I have the basic sets then three limited additions which can be used with creams and powders and I really love them , plus a few more have been real eased and are fabulous and just waiting for them to arrive , They are synthetic brushes and great for purpose ! I have bought my family a set each as they are great , my makeup goes on with perfection , so no need to buy any others , I have at least three of each brush to be able to keep them clean but I do only use mine once and then wash , along with sponges which also i use once then wash but I love a brush for my skin care and foundation and concealer , they work exceptionally well for me , non have shed any bristles and I would not use any other brand , I have a full set of Estée Lauder brushes but I prefer real techniques, hope I can reinforce how great these brushes are !
Hello. Thank you so much for posting this video. I live in Iran and I'm about to start college this year. Where I live, our economy is absolutely hammered. 1$ is 16 times more expensive than our own currency (whereas in a normal situation it should've been 1$=1000toomans) so I've been looking for videos recommending good drugstore products (even if I want to buy only necessary drugstore cosmetics I still have to spend millions on them) Thank you so much for dedicating an entire video to a good and affordable brush set. Make up is my passion and my goal was to have good cosmetics before I start college so I can gain more confidence in myself and you can't achieve that if you don't have the right tools. Again, thank you for the video it helped me a lot. I think I still have to spend couple hundred thousands on them but I've been saving money doing translating jobs so I hope I can afford them and a couple other make up products Thanks again 💕
I love brushes! Especially affordable brushes. 💓 I've always wanted to try BH Cosmetics brushes and shadows. Maybe one day. I love Real Techniques and Wet n Wild's brushes. Love your makeup btw. You look absolutely gorgeous.

Stephanie Cunningham Oh yay! Thank you so much for watching! 🥰
Love BH Cosmetics brushes! And really like using ecotools and real techniques brushes! Might have to try out elf brushes too.
Janelle Hawthorne I’m so glad to hear that you love them too! 😍
Luxie brushes, especially the professional line, are really good. I always wait for one of their major sales. Sometime you can get them 50-75% off
Thank you so much for this video Andrea!! I love brushes and am really excited to try your recommendations. It's good to know that there are plenty of affordable options😊
Jacki Montoya Thank you so much for watching! 💗 It really is amazing how many adorable brands make good brushes! 😍
Pls tell me how's the bh cosmetic petite chic brush set?
What do you use to clean your brushes? I’ve used cinema secret before but it’s quite expensive 😅
The colourpop brushes are great and affordable too.
Such a great review of the pros and cons of these brands. Thanks!
MsAlyssaJM Thank you so much for taking the time to watch! 🥰💗
You should do a video of your favorite affordable brushes, pick the best from all the brands.
Thanks sister, it's very helpful ❤️❤️❤️
Makeup Geek eye brushes, Real Techniques and Bdellium Tools are some of my favorites. And I have bought back-ups of these as well.
(and I do have some Sigma and Artis that I love, those are pricier, but have lasted me forever!)
Love all the brushes you showed. I also wanted to add you eye look matches your sweater perfectly!😍😍😍
i love using elf and bh cosmetic brushes . they are my favorite brushes brand to use.
I always get essence brushes because they‘re one of the few brands available in switzerland
Eva Chiofalo their brushes are really good. Might be even better then wet n wild. I love the eyeliner brush and bronzer brush (I use the it for blush)
Lol i have the BH Rose gold brushes. I actually keep them at work for if i need a touch up or i want to finish my already started makeup
thank you for these recommendations! i have really been loving your content for the last few months💕
Gabriela Gutierrez You are the absolute best! Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos! 💗
I found a Luxie brush set at Winners and I love them! It was a small eye brush set (i.e. perfect for my small hooded eyes)! They're decent and I'm happy with them.
Ruby Starr I love Luxie brushes too! I usually get them in subscription boxes and it makes me so happy because they are so nice! 😍💗
Peaches and cream brushes are insane !! I have their full collection of 50 something brushes. X
Ecotools launches great sets with more brushes in them during the holiday season! I bought a set 2 years back and it came with 10-12 brushes and a sponge too 🥰 even got it on clearance!!
I use the quo beauty makeup diamond brush set it has a foundation brush, bronzer brush,
Two eye shadow brushes, and a blush brush.
Such a great video! Informative, to the point. Love it!
I haven't tried bh brushes yet. They look nice!
Crystal's Love of Beauty I was really impressed by them! 😍
I like Sigma. A bit expensive but I usually purchase one at a time. Colourpop for sure. What do you think about Sonia Kashuk?
I Love the BH Rose Gold collection!!
Thanks for your recommendation! I haven't tried any of her brushes but I have seen them at Target! I will have to check them out!
I love your eye shadow💗💗💞
I can't decide on a favorite brush brand. I think elf, colourpop, ecotools, and real techniques make amazing brushes. I also love my sigma brushes and it cosmetics brushes despite the higher price tag
love the precision elf set as well soo good! just started using Colourpop’s ultimate brush roll they work great 👍
S T Y L E B Y B A R E I’m so glad to hear that you love them too! 🥰💗
I feel stupid but even after looking for info on the web, I still don't know how to choose brushes for liquids vs. brushes for powders. It doesn't usually say on the packaging. Is there a general rule or guideline?
Brushes for liquid foundation are firmer denser brushes and for powders are less dense and softer.
I like your video, you are a professional describing the brushes. I have a question, in my country I can find ecotools and real techniques. I would like to invest in face brushes. Would you recommend to me better real techniques instead of ecotools? Thanks. Greetings from El Salvador.
Thank you for giving me such good and affordable recommendations!!!!!!! 💖
Laura Macedo Thank you so much for taking the time to watch! 🥰💗
Wow, this is such a helpful video! Absolutely loved it 🤗
What eyeshadow pallet were u wearing in this?
How do you clean your Mack up brushes
Hi our real techniques do complete new limited additions, but are very nice in fact I have the basic sets then three limited additions which can be used with creams and powders and I really love them , plus a few more have been real eased and are fabulous and just waiting for them to arrive ,
They are synthetic brushes and great for purpose !
Wet n wild pro brush set is amazing!
Hello. Thank you so much for posting this video. I live in Iran and I'm about to start college this year.
Where I live, our economy is absolutely hammered. 1$ is 16 times more expensive than our own currency (whereas in a normal situation it should've been 1$=1000toomans) so I've been looking for videos recommending good drugstore products (even if I want to buy only necessary drugstore cosmetics I still have to spend millions on them)
Thank you so much for dedicating an entire video to a good and affordable brush set. Make up is my passion and my goal was to have good cosmetics before I start college so I can gain more confidence in myself and you can't achieve that if you don't have the right tools.
Again, thank you for the video it helped me a lot. I think I still have to spend couple hundred thousands on them but I've been saving money doing translating jobs so I hope I can afford them and a couple other make up products
Thanks again 💕
I love brushes! Especially affordable brushes. 💓 I've always wanted to try BH Cosmetics brushes and shadows. Maybe one day. I love Real Techniques and Wet n Wild's brushes. Love your makeup btw. You look absolutely gorgeous.
Amber Allen I definitely love those brushes too! 😍 Thanks for your sweet comment! 💗🥰
omg!!!!!!!!!!!this video is so helpful thank you
Have you tried BK beauty brushes?
Not sure if you have tried these or not, but I have really enjoyed moda brushes.
I love this! I need new brushes now😆 You’re amazing! XOXOX
Hi , I only use real techniques, I have three limited addition sets brushes I love them , but beware you can get addicted to buying them ! I also have nanshy professional set of brushes also these are equal to real techniques! But humour me9i love all my brushes from the same brand so when on my vanity they look beautiful, but keep them clean !
Your makeup looks flawless girll!!! I love your eyeshadow 💕🥰💜
That’s so nice of you! Thank you so much! 🥰
