Loving your build videos. One thing - Watch those face mask straps hanging down, when using your router table. I'd recommend trimming, attaching, or tucking those in. One accidental lean-down, a strap gets caught by the bit, yanks your head into the bit, and it's a nasty situation!

Nice job. Btw my wife heard your video from another room, came running in and shouted ‘Kidderminster!’ (referring to your accent). She also comes from the carpet capital of the western world (we met while both working at Gilt Edge Carpets).

Thanks you, that’s made me smile 🤣 my parents worked at Worth Carpets in Stourport when I was young, it’s all gone now sadly & been replaced by a massive Tesco 🤷🏻‍♂️

Afromosia, wow, it really matches the guitar top, which shop did you find that in?😀

It’s a DIY emporium near me called Wigleys, one of the best shops in the area 😎

I would leave the fingerboard wide, rather than cutting it to size before thicknessing. That way if it blows out the edge, it might not be a big deal.

It was wide when I used the router jig to get it to thickness, band sawed most of the excess then trimmed flush on the router table - as you say, less chance of messing up with a chip out
