@graciekramer14 taught me how to do a shinivisnovoa (did I spell that right?) and then we tried to learn the spanish fly, referred to us by the wrestler Swerve Strickland!
Fun fact: The Spanish Fly was invented by tag team Los Maximos/Spanish Announce Team (hence the name) in the indie wrestling scene in the 2000s (thus it is a general wrestling move, not a "WWE" move if such a thing can exist).
And it was a double team move from the top rope. Eventually it became a single person move from the top which progressed into a running counter when the shooting star became mainstream. Watch Akua Neckbreaker for my moves
I was told to watch these videos to see what moves they were doing way back last year. And they have grown on me. I love watching them do these and I just they're always fun to watch as well. Great video 🙂👏
What you did actually looks more difficult than the WWE version. Watching it back a bunch, it looks like Red Pants uses the clothesline to assist Grey's backflip, especially with the running start, but Red just kind of rolls with it guided by Grey's momentum. You can see how Red's left foot stays in almost the same place as his right kicks up and over like a really high spinning kick, not having to launch himself up as much as Grey does.
The wrestlers use momentum to rotate fast enough. They did great, especially for just learning it, but the wrestlers' version is harder because they are not meeting, stalling, and then jumping. They are doing it while maintaining momentum and not just jumping into flips.
I think it’s easier for men in general due to power. You rarely see women do this move, but a lot of guys use it. I think it’s also harder to do from a standing start than it is with momentum.
This is so awesome 😊. I hope you have a great rest of your day. I really enjoyed this video, keep up the amazing work in all that you do. Wishing you nothing but positive vibes 😎
If you were to click any point at random in any of their collab videos you would probably have a 80% you will catch them laughing. That is not a complaint. Thank you for sharing your journey and play 💖💖
Love it! Please try the Figure 4 Leg Lock next, Charlotte does it and so did her dad Ric Flair, it's my favorite hold! Love you guys, you're the best!!!! Dana
The Spanish fly is much easier than you would think. It's simply one person doing a backflip and the other person doing a frontflip. The illusion is that you're moving your opponent with the velocity. The Canadian destroyer is the same way, but much more dangerous. I've only taken one in my life time during an Ironman Match. We had to end our 30 minute match on that move. I was terrified because it was my first one, but I jumped with everything I had and it looked great in the end. I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you really trust the person you're working with. ❤ God bless ladies. Stay safe.
It is a cool move that boggles the mind trying to figure out what happened. It does take a lot of cooperation. There are variations, including standing with no run-up and the top rope version. Be careful of the top rope one. Two WWE guys recently had their match stopped on live tv because they didn’t get enough rotation and landed on their heads and shoulders. Both were dazed but recovered.
I don't remember seeing wrestlers doing the butt slap part then again they don't usually cheer each other on like that! I don't know if you'd be smart to try it due to the risk of neck injuries if you land wrong but the Code Red always looks pretty cool. There's a female wrestler, Skye Blue, who does a version she calls the Code Blue which is a slight variation that looks more difficult too.
Yeah code red is a lot more dangerous if it's done wrong or there was a slip up. Wrestling may be scripted and rehearsed but they are professionals and go through proper training to learn those moves
This was fun to watch. Have you considered joining a local Indy wrestling show to learn the basics of wrestling? It might be fun and you could document your journey.
Watching how difficult it was to learn the Spanish Fly just goes to reinforce how crazy it was that Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic did this move off the top turnbuckle. Congrats on pulling it off.
Watching this is better than therapy!! Thank you for the joy and laughter you guys are amazing!
True definition of besties. These 2 hopped on my feed for some random reason. Glad they did…very entertaining. Lightens up the day for me….
You two always make my whole day! Together or apart - you two are amazing!
That only demonstrate how fucking good athlete are wrestlers! Love ya❤
They also have to do it all in front of an audience on all four sides.
and the coordination and teamwork....wow
Bruh then doing this off the top rope. Holy shit.
Don’t forget it’s on wooden planks with a thin mat above it.
You girls are so entertaining I laugh as much as you both do, thank you so much for the joy and laughter you bring. John ❤❤❤
respect the thirst trap thumb.
I love your paired videos, you're both great together.

I didn’t know!

The two wrestlers in the video are AEW stars Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland.

Spanish Fly is a very dangerous move, if you aren't in sync you can both land on your head. This happened recently in a WWE match.
"I can't look at you, you're face is too close"
"like this?"
