Good video for instructions to change the CR2025 battery. Thank you. I have a 2001 E320 Wagon with a few year old, yet the newer chrome and plastic key fob.However, I was hoping for a little more information. I changed the battery, actually finding the same one in my photographic camera remote control. I first took the battery out of the Mercedes Key Fob. It is apparently fine as it still runs my camera remote. I took the newer one from the camera remote and put it into the key fob, and it still does not work- it flashes the turn signals and the key fobs signal is apparently being received by the car computer- yet the mechanical door lock tabs won't move up or down. I think in the video you might want to add that once the new battery is installed you should check to see the little red light come on when you press the buttons, as you did not mention that. So is there a chance when the battery gets week that it will not bring on the little red light, which other videos mention is just at the top and lower left of the panic button on the surface, or also if you point the narrow front end of the key at you, the infrared light is showing their on the tip when you to press the buttons. I'm not seeing this light. Again, is it possible that the batteries I'm trying are too weeks or nearly worn out? Because here's another symptom I'm noticing. When a press the lock and unlock buttons, it causes the turn signal lights on all 4 points of the car to flash as they usually do in the locking and unlocking mechanism. However, the door lock tabs do not raise or lower. So I'm assuming this is a mechanical function in the door locks themselves or a fuse is burned out that controls these door locks mechanisms. There are three different locations in the car for fuses- under the hood drivers left side, to the left of the driver side dashboard, and also in the battery compartment under the rear right seat. I've checked the first two, but I haven't checked the battery compartment, perhaps there's another fuse there for the locking mechanism. A fuse that may control the remote key entry there, also. There are also other indications from other videos about an antenna in the car, not receiving the signal from the key. And then there is also a video that tells how to synchronize the key to the cars computer so all these other considerations must be checked. I just thought I'd recommend all these other possibilities for other readers to consider.
My key battery alert came on. I took my car to Mercedes dealership, they gave me 2 batteries FREE FREE!! The service rep also changed the battery for me.

I have a 2014 E350. I was able to change the battery, but cannot get the display message to reset. Any idea on how to do this?
To think I was going to the dealership today to have them change it for me. God knows how much they was going to charge me for this
