Weird question, but what if the textbook gets updated and you’re half a month out from sitting for the exam? By the way thank you so much for all the information you’ve provided. You’ve really helped me on my CSCS study journey!
I wouldn't worry about that too much. Even with the updates 90%+ of the book will remain the same. And it's not like the exam will suddenly change when the book is updated. The exam is consistently slowly updated.
Hey brother, I've been a trainer for 6 years and now a student physical therapist. Thinking about getting my CSCS during the 3 week holiday break, do you think that's a reasonable anount of time to get it? Thanks for the vid💪
That's what I did actually. If you put in a good bit of studying and you're efficient you can probably do it. You should fly through the exercise science part and spend more time on topics like program design.
Thank you! I have all my TH-cam stuff linked on my Amazon store: www.amazon.com/shop/themovementsystem/list/2S1J6BAUJMORD?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_m
Does it matter what year I graduated as long as I can show official transcripts of having a degree? my b.s. in exercise science is from about 8 years ago.
Hi Matt, does the 70% passing requirement apply to the total questions of each section (70% in applied, 70% in scientific foundations)? Or does it apply to 70% of each sub category (needing 70% in exercise science, 70% in sport psych, 70% in nutrition, etc)?
What chapters from the 4th edition text are covered in the Practical Applied section of the exam? I have already passed the Scientific Foundations portion and just need to study for the Practical Applied section. Just trying to use my time wisely and not go over anything I don't need to! Thanks!
I'm currently running my gym and i do have diploma in Personal Training. Can I use my study material of Diploma course for the preparation of CSCS Exam ?
It’s probably very different information. I would get the essentials of strength training and conditioning book and focus on the CSCS specific information

Do we have to renew our certification at time to time.
Are the CPT study materials the same as CSCS ?
Nope. Completely different

You're good. It doesn't matter how long ago you graduated
