Recorded at the Sunday morning Eucharist at Hereford in October 2008: the final hymn, to the tune Hereford (by S.S. Wesley) with the post-Eucharist improvisation
God bless you Peter Dyke, this was simply a marvel of organ playing and it's a cracking hymn to start with - your work has extended its brilliance for me.
@@pippajones2920 Thank you! It was fun to work with such a great tune (thank you, S.S. Wesley) and on such a great instrument (thank you, Father Willis).
Love this - when you get the tempo and sound right, this hymn has passion, style and verve. Best I’ve heard it.
Sounds great
I can’t stop listening to this! Everything about it is perfect. I am sure that SS Wesley is in heaven and nodding and smiling with approval.

*That* must have fired them out of the building!
I don't see the 'worship band' having the same effect.
Thanks for the upload.
A worship band wouldn't have to fire me out the building, i'd be gone way before that!
Have you ever considered writing it down?
Is this you..? It doesn't say.
It is (well, a younger version)
@@peterdyke5399 I have to confess to not being a huge fan of organ music, but your improvisation is wonderful

Nothing quite like a good English pedal reed to shift some air.
