- Ladies and gentlemen, we're happy to present to you the 12th season of FLY VS JERK. This is series where we put some of the best pike anglers in the world to the test. This year we have 8 teams competing and they are faced with the toughest conditions in the history of this format, but as always: the toughest challenges often bring the greatest rewards.
French, German, Russian, Polish and Swedish subtitles available.

This season there will be six episodes, released Fridays at 19:00 CET until the 26th of March.

This cliffhanger: Never again please. It didn't build the excitement, it killed it and as a viewer I felt betrayed. An epic moment just ruined and it's getting harder and harder to come back here. Hope you realize this.

Well deserved glory and the shock of Team Lech split into 2 segments so the channel can get a juicy cliffhanger, it feels like an insult.

We absolutely need more fly teams, because Pasi do not use his fly rod. This year Paolo Pacchiarini (the inventor of the wiggle tails) join Vision team. I hope in the future to see him in a vision team. It could be great to have on of the best pike fishermen performer in the world (2 IGFA world record with one of 1,43 m and a little lesser than 20 kilos) and one of the best pike fly fishermen. Paolo we need you.

Not showing the big pike is such BS. You basically said how big it is, just show it. You probably lost more viewers who were frustrated by this dumb decision than you gained by a cliffhanger.

Most senseless cliffhanger ive ever seen. The fish was caught in that episode guys. Dont do this anymore. The viewers here dont deserve these kind of tricks because were all loyal to your show.

Little stupid to show the reactions of the other teams, when you don't show the big pike that they are amazed of...
So many things wrong with the "cliffhanger". The fish was caught in this episode, you show all the reactions and even tell the length, but not the weight or show the fish itself? This is like spoiling the killer in a murder mystery movie right at the beginning. Either show it totally or not at all. Gave a thumbs down just to let you know this decision sucked big time :D

I think all the people who follow the canal and have seen all seasons of the format will look all episodes if there is a cliffhanger or not, because who have a great format, great and really nice anglers, good filming crew, great cut, musik etc!
I think it is not necessary for these guys. There is no click bait titles which I like and you get these amount of views. But anyway. Keep on going! I am looking for every Friday 👍

Totally killed the excitement. I'm so baffled by the decision that I'm not even mad. A good hanging time for a cliffhanger is maybe a couple of minutes - everything beyond that is just increasing annoyance.

I live this competition. I really enjoy the premise of the competition and the skill levels of all the anglers. Unfortunately the title of Fly vs Jerk is misleading with only 1 fly angling team. Another couple of fly teams would be great to see.
We'll see in the next part what a real crocodile looks like :-) but what I appreciate about all teams - terrible conditions (snowfall, temperature drop, etc.), but they are still fighting for another fish, for victory and they do not lose faith that they will catch the next crocodile ... don't give up! Kanalgratis again thank for amazing video and I'm looking forward to the next part!

Poor choice of video editing. the decision to leave a cliffhanger while also revealing half the info about the big fish seemed like a cheap attempt at spreading the hype over two episodes. What should have been one of the most memorable parts from all the fly vs. jerk seasons is now going to leave a sour taste that will tarnish the season for the viewers let alone take away from the great feat for team Gator. This seemed like a tactic amateur content makers use, kanalgratisdotse is better then this. I hope you pay attention to your viewers opinions and get back to creating the great content we all know you are capable of!

No more cliffhanger - please!
My Daiwa Prorex never froze in the reel this winter. Used it for ice fishing all season, the rod however did freeze in the guidelines. Just because it collects ice/snow infront of the line-guide doesn't mean the reel performance is impacted. This seems kinda odd to me.
Perhaps not reeling constantly doesn't collect much water. Might also be due to line choice, I used mono and they probably use braid.

Can't thank you enough for all the awesome content you guys produce! I need to have that said, kanalgratis have really become a part of my day-to-day. Although, I have to aggree to that the cliffhanger stuff was a bad idea. It broke up the momentum, and killed the buzz. No hard feelings of course, but please know that you guys will never need any added cliffhanger to bring me back for the next episode
