@@garylawlor2288 I know it seems like everyone thinks fly fishing is a disadvantage, including a lot of fly anglers. For the past few years I bass fish on the fly only. I can honestly say, most trips I outfish conventional guys in numbers. Not always in size of the fish, but almost always in numbers. The only real disadvantage is distance and possibly fishing very deep (even with sinking line). I make up for it in accuracy, quick follow ups, and being able to cast behind structure.

CWC are simply and undoubtably the best pike anglers in the world. Individually and even more as a team! I just have to admit that!!! But I still support the fly guys!

Nice, for the audience i would hope that in the next season there would be 2 teams committing to only use flies, 2 teams committing to use only jerkbaits and the rest then using hybrids, tailbaits an rubbers. Thumbs up for the new team- headbanger lures

For beginners like me in "heavy fishing", 18cm or 20cm lure Is a really good size because we can keep an all around rod and we can catch all sizes of pikes. It's encouraging to " keep on hammering"😉😉😉 because we still have several bites and the fish's size increase at the same time

8:19 there was a reasonable chance this fish was more than 9.6kg... it looked well fed and that 122 fish from last episode was really skinny... very weird that they didn't weigh it
