just perfect. I have been comparing riverdance and lord of the dance for a long time. And for me RIVERDANCE is the winner:absolutely perfect choreography , perfect music , pretty costumes and i like the fact, that you can see on their website, who the dancers are.
I use to like lord of the dance too, but then the6 changed the music and everything so I don’t care for it now. Nothing in the show seems to go together.
@@cryman86 I am so glad someone brought this up. I have seen LOTD twice. The original version. I have seen Riverdance three times. ~ I saw Riverdance in 2020. Will see them next month June 2022. LOTD changed everything! I watch the videos on YT and the music has lost the Celtic touch. All the original scores have drifted far away from what they were. The costumes are over the top. The Men were these Cyborg masks, it's ridiculous. Michael turned a beatiful classy Irish dancing show into a Las Vegas act. I will not buy tickets again for LOTD. The number Breakout? The original show the girls had on what looked like athletic shorts with a Athletic top. Now? It looks like they are wearing a bikini bottom and swimsuit top. When the girls turn with their butts to the audience, you actually see their butt cheeks hanging out. I find that could be inappropriate for the elderly crowd and younger kids. I am so grateful Riverdance stayed true to the original scores, the beautiful yet modest costumes, and pretty back drop scenery. ~
I am disappointed how Lord of the dance became a Las Vegas act. The scores don't even sound Celtic. Costumes are over the top. I won't be buying tickets for LOTD anymore. I saw Riverdance in 2020 and next Month in June 2022 I have tickets! Riverdance is by far, my favorite.
😂😂😂😂 Going to see this next month with a group of friends and SO happy!!! Cannot contain the joy that seeing and hearing this brings. It is a freight train of sound and I thank you for uploading this.
@@cryman86 😄 Can't waaait! Thank you for letting me know how much you enjoyed it. Do they still perform the songs they did in the original? They said this is a resurrection of the original. This is going to be a looong week.
Kim Quinn they do still do all the originals for the most part they even added back in home in the heartland singing number before heartland. They don’t do oscala Doris anymore they do analivia now.
@@cryman86 Oscala Doris, Analivia? Did they perform the number that originated with Maria Paget? Sadly covid19 cancelled the performance we were to see but it will come around again. I just pray it's the original. Really appreciate you taking the time to answer, so kind. Hope you are in a safe place with plenty to tide you through this stressful time.
This must have been in Chicago at the Cadillac Theater as went to the show on February 6th. Riverdance still keeps on growing strong after these years.
I really like the Riverdance live performance.

Chicago the hometown of Irish American dancer Micheal Flatley..I'm sure he would have known his show was playing in his hometown.
😂😂😂😂

Do You Have Reel Around The Sun From This Performance?

@@cryman86 oh no I’m sorry that you got caught Well At Least You Got Heartland I Love That Song Also ❤️😍
Thanks for sharing this gem of a performance with us dance fans!
Beyond impressive but still not the same as the original Flatley! Too many "Yee-haa's & Whoop's!"
