My favorite are Drop bear and original XL. They are both beautiful in their simplicity and clean lines. However they are both extremely fidget friendly and excellent daily carry blades. I carried a benchmade bugout for a long time. The original XL gives you a knife the same size with way better ergos a very similar weight (around 2oz) better materials like aluminum or micarta and bearing action and will hold up to heavier use better. I also carried a benchmade minigrip with custom AWT scales and it doesn’t hold a candle to the drop bear eventhough the price of a custom minigrip is $100 more.

I just got my first drop bear and it has so many problems 😭 one the pivot keeps backing out and the only time it doesn't is when its so tight that i cant open or close the knife it has tons of blade play and it's horrible on the centering. What should i do?

I love the Drop Bear, but the Escort is just leaps and bounds better in my opinion. A premium Escort would be just amazing. The knife. Not an actual escort. Crap

Farrrr from the best kizer. Just a boring spoon shaped benchmade. Try the veratas, ti original, fiest, towzer, beglighter and many more, All far better than the drop bear
