Your guard is much more forgiving when you are in limit form. It's a very defensive form with an emphasis on survivability. If can be extra powerful supplemented with ethers so you can just keep the rave going. If you do that just make sure you shortcut ethers to a slot with an attack you don't want to use, I would recommend ragnorak or ars arcanum.
