A little ingenuity, no apprehension or fear, a vast amount of measurements, ability to adapt, and aquired skills (learning on the fly), brings about master craftsmanship and a beautiful enclosed cabin. Very well done Marty!

My dad's an upholsterer, 30 years of experience on boats, furniture, and cars. I worked with him while growing up. All that to say, we've done our fair share of these projects AND you're crushing this man!!

I was a very early subscriber to your channel. You was just moving out of your house and moving onto the boat. I been amazed at your DIY projects over the years. You inspired me to build my own mud boat. I went to school for welding and worked in that field for awhile. But I got into Real Estate and made enough money to retire early. At 52 I just bought my retirement home on the Manatee River in Bradenton Florida. This Indiana farm boy is moving to Florida to have small boating adventures year around. I grew up and lived on the Ohio River but I hate the Indiana winters. So now I can Build boats, fish, explore out of the way beaches. I will have my personal boat ramp and dock. All this was put in place because of your inspiration. The great loop is on my list also. I hope you read this because you are a true inspiration to me and many others. I’m channel is small, but I hope to grow my channel once I get moved and start having more adventures... Thank you Marty... You the Man Buddy..

So glad my Mother taught me how to sew! Suggestion. Where the chrome supports might touch the ising glass, put white pieces of pool noodles or pipe insulators on the supports. Otherwise your ising glass will become rough and actually show rust and dirt from rain and condensation.

I love when you create things. It sparks so many ideas in my head. It’s like I feed off your creativity. I have followed you for years. I think since like 2012 or 2013 when you did the poor mans fishing kayak. I went and bought the same tiny little kayak as you and filled it up with an obscene amount of fishing gear and I fished super uncomfortably right with you through those years all on a way undersized kayak. Thanks for the videos Marty

Looks awesome Marty, during your journey on the loop if you just so happen to make it to southern Lake Michigan close to Indiana or southern Michigan I’d really like to see your boat in person, I’ll buy dinner, maybe you can give me some ideas for my boat. This has been a real inspiring project for me, my father passed away a few years ago and it was one project we were hoping to get underway... Thanks Marty ... James Cherry

Marty, I've been going back and re-watching your videos. This one is GREAT especially for me as I am attempting to make my own covers and isinglass enclosures for a boat I am rebuilding which hopefully will follow your wake some day, um, some year. Thank you again and safe travels!

Hey thanks Marty for showing how to do this. That looks something I could do it myself. By they way, you will need some kinda heating inside your bridge when you go up north. Otherwise you can't see outside when it's raining and cold. Also, some kind of angle for the front window would be good to help the water go down when it rains (like all modern vessels have their bridge windows). Source: boater from Finland
