The 380 is such a great package. The S comes loaded with tons of stuff. It’s definitely a bargain for the price. I’m digging the wheels on the 2023 S. Could you share the brand and specs please? Thank you!
@@kwesiwilliams1188 I do oil changes every 5/6k I always use an extractor. I replace the spark plugs about every 40k. I change the cabin and pollen filter every 20k. I do a brake flush every 2 years usually when the car is getting its state inspections. Only major issue I’ve ever had with her was the radiator cracked which was about 1500. That was just recent . I had a water pump go once, but my mk6 had that to like once a year . Other that thst she’s been perfect
What the actual fuck. They're not going to offer a manual on the GTI after this year. That's fucking stupid. Manual is so much more fun. Autotragic is so uninspiring.
I just did a back box exhaust delete and its awesome, definitely look in to that. h&r lowering springs are the way to go.
I have the h&r lowing springs in my mk8 they are fire handle well and perfect drop

How do you get the r display software please!??
You have to purchase the device called OBD 11, it will let you flash software, you have to pay for credits to flash your car though
Too bad they still come stock with them lame blinkers. Nice looking cars. I’m on my 5th gti, had the mk7 for almost 10 years now. Congrats
What was maintenance like for you throughout those 10 years? I'm definitely considering this or the Si.

@ajcap thank you very much for your response. Sounds great!!!
@@kwesiwilliams1188 I should mention if you get a DSG, there is also some maintenance with that too. But I have a manual
@ajcap I would definitely get a manual. I've only owned one automatic car in my life, and that was given to me by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Nice cars too much wind noise unfortunately
