When I grow up, I wish to be an animator like you Andy… You’re amazing!
Yes I want to be one too:) But it probably takes a while!
@@PlasticWars393 I can’t imagine how long it took them to make this, once I made a Stopmotion in like 3 months, but it was only like 2 minutes, and it wasn’t that good…
@@OzeAnimation I know it must take years!!!!
Me too!
Hi
There is something about stop motion that is so impressive and satisfying to look at haha. I love watching the finished products of really any animation! But stop motion especially excites me. This was done incredibly well! :D Even a choppy 5 second stop motion made with dollar store clay will make my day a million times better. Good work, Andy!! I want to make this my profession when I get older :)
Hi my channel is all about stop motion 😂🤣
I didn’t know you worked on this! This is so cool!
For real
Agreed
Such impressive artistry, the level of detail and nuance in your shots is remarkable! Congratulations for your having your name on a Golden Globe winner!
STOP MOTION?!! Whoa...I couldn't even imagine that this technique can bring such an amazing animation... This is absolutely AWESOME! Now I want to learn more about it 😅
Edit: Now, when I finished watching, I can confidently say: this looks way more natural and appealing than most of CGI despite all those fancy technologies! :3 The mass production really misses out so much...
No way, that is awesome, you should direct your own laika movie to be recognized.
I think the comment section on my TH-cam is either broken or people are commenting some R E A L weird stuff, correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes
ikr he should
@@bingder you have no videos on your channel
@@Drawing_Rat, I know that. The comment was all weird for me. It was like just numbers and letters in random order lol
Man I love this movie. Convinced my family it was cgi until I surprised them at the end.
That barely looks like stop motion that is so good! You even have the characters moving slightly in the background! Most animations don't have that, that is some great detail! I love that!
I'd love to see more stop motion work! In other words, yes please!
After posting this comment I had to go rewatch the holiday commercial you did a few years ago. I love both the finished product and seeing how you did it - it's awesome!
*I can't wait for my children to be studying this in AP Animation*
..and other career paths they would like to pursue = ..right?

this is so impressive
One of my favorite films. So cool to know you worked on it!
How do you keep characters characterisms and personality consistent across the film when so many animators are working on it at once? Can you ever put your own spin on scenes?
Its not something you can just re review like it was a paper/digital drawing, so i was wondering this too!
I believe they have storyboards/animatics first so that the animators know what exactly they're supposed to be doing
Yeah I was wondering how much involvement Andy had with creating the storyboards too, as he showed that small clip of him doing some facial expressions of Link - such a fascinating process
Stop motion makers deserve respect because the spend a lot of time making de models and editing. That's incredible.
wish this got more awards. its an underrated film. love the studio.
OMG I DIDNT KNOW!!! I saw that in the movie theater with my bff
Thats awesome!
When I saw this movie I thought it was CGI! It is so clean I couldn’t tell the difference!
Fantastic job, keep it up 👍👍❤❤
Yooo this is cool
It's not looks like Stopmatiom It's like a Animation!
It's very very good.♥️
Awesome video Andy. Unfortunately I missed "Missing Link" when it was released, though I remember the trailers. I'll have to make a point of seeing this as "Boxtrolls" and "Kudo & the Two Strings" are among my favorite movies. Great job on those scenes as well as the flipbooks you continuously present on this channel.
I watched this whole movie and I LOVED the animation!
My birthday is coming up and I am getting the flipbook starter pack and the 8 pack of paper
Love your animations! ❤❤❤
I always loved stop motion because it has a certain vivid lifelike quality to it that CGI can rarely capture. This is exceptional work.
Amazing Animation! Congratulations!
I loved that film and love stop motion. Please post more of your work in this medium.
Of course!!! I'd love to see more stop motion... Also please upload the stop motion with The Mandalorian... And the behind the scenes too, they explain so much
I love your channel!
This is the smoothest stop motion ever. You wont even notice it is one.
I do stop motion as a hobby, and I got to admit it takes a lot of hours just to bring 1 to 2 minutes of footage...
This is why animation is cinema and not just a genre for kids, it's for everyone!
Wow just wow quite liked the sneezing bit
I watched this film with my kid sister and had no clue you helped animate this! Amazing work and amazing film!
It can’t be real!!! That looks 3D renders. Awesome!!!
I didn't know it was on stop motion this movie actually made me cry I was quite surprise you were apart of this
You are the best antimater i have seen in my life
That was so smoothhhh I can’t believe it’s stop animation 😭😭
Wow! I have worked on my own very short stop motion movies at home and I know how much work goes into it, especially a full-length film!! Amazing work and incredible detail!! 😃👏👏👏
How on earth is it so smooth. There are barely any stop motion artifacts if any. Thats insane
I love you Andy! I am a flip book artist, and I love your work!
Perfect And Beautiful! 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍!
It was amazing! You put a lot of effort into making this amazing film! Andymation is very inspiring to me. I hope when I grow up, I and all my animator friends in this world become a professional animator like you 😊
This what you call a masterpiece and this so worth it
Stop motion is so incredibly fascinating ❤️
2 years of your life, wow. i respect the dedication!
Keep going bro🥰🥰
That is so super duper mega cool you got to work on Missing Link!! I love Laika's films and really enjoyed the movie, too!
I liked this movie and knowing you worked on this makes me appreciate your efforts on TH-cam
Never thought I would see one of my subscriptions as one of the stop-motion animators from one of the best Stop-motion movies i've seen yet o-o
Awesome!
Excellent, I loved it. It has a great attention to detail, the combination of shadows, colors and movement is immersive
Wow!I love this film! And you do this WOW! JUST WOW
Missing Link is one of my favourite animated films and knowing that you played a part in making it makes me happy
Your earlier video with the flipbook animation remaster of your first flipbook inspired me to buy my first kit and I can't wait to get stuck in. I am currently learning to digitally animate, but the flipbook animations look like such a fun hobby that I had to get some. So thank you for inspiring me to get more creative, I love your work in Missing Link and your previous flipbook works. Awesome! :)
Isle of dogs is my favourite stop motion movie of all time ♥️.
Just wow far more better than today's animation
This is crazy to know becuase you are one of my favorite TH-camrs and missing link was and still is one of my favorite movies 🍿
Thanks!
I love seeing behind the scene stop motion stuff.

Nothing to add than ... Fantastic work!
That is soooo cool! I love stop motion films ever since I saw Coraline! That is just soooo awesome!

Amazing work, it great you get to live a life long dream of doing what you love
This is amazing Andy, I thought it was CGI! Me and my mother and Step dad watched it a few years ago and really liked it!
I would love to see more stop motion content in this channel!
Same!
Wow! That's the sort of stuff I've always wanted to do!
Awesome 👍
It is so clean, great job Andy.

Super cool
Such impressive creations!
jeez I love stop motion animation like this, and it's so clean and awesome - congrats man!
It feels so underrated...u deserve more
Its AMAZING... When I would watch it without seeing this video, I would think it was computer-animated. I love stopmotion and have actually never seen such fluid movement - even in kubo or coraline you can tell it's stopmotion, here you can't
I DIDNT EVEN KNEW YOU WORKED ON ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE MOVIES!!! OMG UR PARTS WERE SO SMOOTH!!!!
Just a big WOWWW..... I am speachless. No words can worth your work. I wish i could live near by and can work with you to see this stuff with my own eyes. Its Amazing seriously. Lots of prayers for your success.
