Any update on the rear drum to disc conversion? That would be my first choice. It's more cost-effective, and the improvement of discs over drums is substantial from what I've seen in my research.
@mtnyotas I talked to my mechanic and... Yeah, rear conversion to discs might be cheaper in terms of cost of the kit... But the installation is a hassle! Is not a DIY that I can easily do. At least not me. Front big brake kit yeah, no problem. Thanks for the feedback! There are not so much videos of Tacomas with both conversions done in TH-cam. Take advantage of that and feature your trucks!
Great Content, I have the same breaks and agree 100% worth every penny . . . Would love to see a part 2 video with the rear breaks switched out as well@@mtnyotas
It’s insane how much better they are!
Thank you for installing my PowerBrake kit. They’re amazing and absolutely worth the money!
Thank you sir!
Wow. Stop much fast. Amazing.
I'm sold been looking at these and Wilwood, just need to save up the cash. The power brake looks much more HD, thanks for the video.
Now that, is an amazing difference!
How much of an upgrade are these beyond a tundra 13wl swap?
At least $2
Nice work video quality is definitely going up 🤘
Thank you bro.

We have trucks with both done... Powerbrake's big brake kit is a lot more effective than a disc conversion.

Noice!!
Great video, concrete data!
bet you a buck you'd see an improvement by switching to rear disc brakes too.
Absolutely... this truck is getting portals in a month and we'll do the rear discs at that time :-)
@@mtnyotas nice , hope you do a second "before and after" video comparing all levels of brakes (stock , front only , front and rear)

FFS for 3K That is crazy price!!
How much is it worth to be sure that you're gonna stop quickly?
What was the rotor size between stock and those machos…?
Also a 17 inch minimum wheel size….that’s telling….
The Powerbrakes are 6 piston billet and stock is 4 piston cast.
What exhaust?
It was MBRP high clearance and now it's Magnaflow Overland Series
Busdy when toyota engineered the braking system they figured out with gow much they can get away with the third fen is literally a parts bin truck
Can you just get a raptor r? With remote rev start. Wooo!
I'd take this Tacoma over a Raptor 100 out of 100 times... it's more capable offroad, more powerful, and we think it looks better too.
@@mtnyotas raptor R has 700hp. Cool bro
