750MC Winter Sim Championship Round 3 Thruxton - Race 1

I have entered my first Sim racing championship. Racing against real life racers, Sim racers and novices, like me !!
This is Round 3 (of 5) at the high speed Thruxton circuit, driving the Honda Civic car in Assetto Corsa with custom track and car mods.
Race 1 (of 3), 15 minute races.
I managed to do a great lap in qualifying (my fastest yet) to put me in 4th place on the grid for race 1
But not much else went right for me.
Race 1
Lap 1 got a good start held my place until Harvey slip streamed me along Brooklands, I didn't make it hard for him and let him pass into Club.
Lap 2 locked up into Campbell, managed to avoid Harvey, went wide, a car passed me then i got hit by the next car and spun off lost 7 or 8 places.
Lap 5 I slip streamed Steve along Brooklands, made side by side contact with Steve in Club, But we both survived, i got ahead.
Lap 10 car in front started to cut Club, then changed his mind and hit the tyres. practically stopped in front of me, i hit him but continued to finish 10th
I am using the Oculus Rift S VR headset, A Playseat and a Logitec G29 Wheel & Pedals.
