750MC Winter Sim Championship Round 3 Thruxton - Race 2

I have entered my first Sim racing championship. Racing against real life racers, Sim racers and novices, like me !!
This is Round 3 (of 5) at the high speed Thruxton circuit, driving the Honda Civic car in Assetto Corsa with custom track and car mods.
Race 2 (of 3), 15 minute races.
Race 2
Reverse grid for the Top 10 from the first race. So i started on pole This could be a good race for me. Famous last words,...........
Lap 1 got slip streamed along Brooklands and lost a place into Club. the car in front of me lifted in Allard !!? nearly hit him.
Lap 3 (comfortable in 2nd) got a weird bounce on the Club kerbs, spat me off to the right and i hit the wall lost lost 8 places !!!
Lap 4 A car went wide in Campbell, coming back on he hit me into a spin, i lost 5 places, recovering i got hit again lost 6 places
Lap 7 chased Steve for a while.
Lap 8 I touched a car i was trying to pass. and got spat me into the barrier, should have been a glancing blow but stopped dead and spun 180 !! Lost 10 places
Lap 9/10/11 car is damaged, not turning very well. struggling to stay ahead of 26th
I am using the Oculus Rift S VR headset, A Playseat and a Logitec G29 Wheel & Pedals.
