Africa is grateful for partnership with Türkiye leaders by Mr Erdogan. He comes to do business in infrastructure and security,he does not lecture us about marriage laws etc. Turkiye just completed building a business centre in Congo, many locals worked alongside Turkish partners and picked up skills in infrastructure. Congo is also fighting rebels and the drones provided by Turkey is helping bring security and stability to the country. Turkey has built world class Airports and Stadiums in Africa for our youths to showcase their talents. This is the partnership yielding tangible results, unlike the West and their lectures, empty promises and colonial hangover.

@@jijikwtI might be wrong, but from what I know, the Ottoman Empire was generally a peaceful empire. They did not rule in the manner the British did in India. Like in any society, there might have been some rogue soldiers, but the majority did not engage in such actions.
An example supporting this is the history: Palestinians under Ottoman rule experienced a golden time when Jews, Muslims, and Christians coexisted peacefully. I also believe this harmony existed because the Turks were ruled themself for a long time by the Mongols. While interpretations may vary, it's worth noting that compared to other empires, there is less documented evidence of widespread killings by the Ottoman Empire or Turks.

Turkish volunteers are all over the continent. There are a large group of students in Turkish universities from all over Africa. Turkiye also helps to end the French exploitation of Africa's resources. I listened to an address by Erdoğan to a graduation class of Africans, and he sounded like an African nationalist, setting the tone. All the right moves. Ottomans fought to their last breath to keep Europeans out of Africa, and Turkiye picked up the flag again.

Turkey can accomplish everything except run it's economy. Currency has lost 80% value since 2019 as of 2024, unemployment rate at 10%, inflation was 64% in Dec 2023, current account deficit at 5%, in 2023 its foreign reserves excluding currency swaps went into negative territory, it's sovereign bonds r in junk category, it also runs a heavy trade deficit of 106 billion which is ironic because all the shenanigans with erdoganomics were to boost exports. Above all it suffers from authoritarianism.

All those you have saved are more or less true, but failed/overlooked to mention that entire EEU nations and USA at the behest of almighty Israel conspired to put all kinds of Sanctions and obstacles against Turkey in order to make it fail. Turkey has refused to take orders from these inhuman monsters, rather chosen to stay on course to be a free nation. I am sure dividend will follow. Once you choose the right path, formulate compatible policies/strategies and organise resources to reach the destination you will win in the end. Look at those war mongering nations; entangled in never ending wars one after another sleep walking towards self destruction. You should not be surprised if the conspirators one day knock at African and Asian doors as economic asylum seekers unless they repent, come to their senses and go back to the basics.

Just came back from Vacation in Turkey . I found the cities extremely clean compared to both India and USA , Great infrastructure , Awesome highways , high speed trains ( real high speed, not like fake indian high speed trains) and restraunts and shopping malls full of people . Yes inflation is high , but salary increase in also high . Wanted to ask about buying a flat in Istanbul, could not do this time, will definitely do on next visit . Above all the people are wonderful . As for Trade deficit , the numbers you quoted are from goods trade . Turkey has a huge Services exports , Airlines, tourism banking and external contracting like the 85 billion dollar number quoted in this Video . Tourism alone is bringing in 40 billion dollars every year , you should substract that from trade deficit . Just the rebuilding of Ukraine is going to generate contracts of atleast 100 billion for Turkish firms , just like rebuilding of Iraq is earning 12 billion dollars for turkish exporters every year . Turkey has a great future . The biggest problem is that while carving out the borders , the colonial powers cleverly kept all energy rich regions out of Turkey . This causes a import bill of 50 billion dollars . However with Turkey focusing on electric cars , massive dams, europe's largest solar power plant and nuclear power even this is bill is going to come down .

Türkiye is just weighting in her options. EU membership may have failed buy we still got very extensive trade and custom deals with them. This whole Islamic ummah project is bound to fail too, but ut will yield some form of soft power we need in order to try our luck with the next project. Unlike India, we aren't blessed with a vast and fettile land with excellent natural borders. We sit in the crossroads of so much bullshit that slightest misteps can cause us to fall for good.

The Ottomans were in no position to go to war in WW1 and should have remained neutral. The wars would have passed them the way they passed a declining Spain but would've left them with a big chunk of the ME. The Israel occupation would have never occurred and all this jihad nonsense. The ultimate master move was to be non aligned for the 2 world wars and ally with the USA immediately after. The soviets were far too dangerous.

Secondly over hardpower had grown you can read it on global fire index, from 11 to 8 and even over came italy and france and the second or third if you say russia is a european country, in European continent. Yes with erdogan isnt going well, but with his investment and a better goverment, we will be able to catch better up and that can be let us reach in global power index the 5 rank and the G7 member ship. By the way india has a huge problem wirj china how is far more strong than india, secondly have you see what india does to moslems and indegions like the jawa tribe ? They have literaly human zoos and give fuck about 80% of there own Population. Turkey and there people have it far better than indian

These foreign nations have articulated their interests. They know what they want from Africa and how to get it. I do not know if the same can be said of African leaders, most of whom are preocupied with amassing wealth and retaining power at all cost and at the expense of their impoverished citizens.
The foreign powers put their nations' interests forward and first in their engagement wiith Africa, but the African leaders place themselves first.
