Soooooooo, I went over to NCE comment section to see what all the fuss was about. Let's get into:
1) I AM a licensed nail tech in multiple states with 2+ decades in the game.
2) I saw the NCE beginners kit review video. I have also watched a multitude of your videos. You can ALWAYS learn something new from someone else.
3) Your beads are fine. Each system requires a different liquid to powder to ratio.
4) IMO, if NCE system is truly an no odor to odorless system, their should have been extra instructions.
-Odorless acrylic systems have larger molecules than traditional acrylic systems. This means that they evaporate slowly and you have to work with smaller beads.
EMA: ethyl methacrylate is used in traditional systems🔹️
MEM: Methoxyethoxy ethyl methacrylate is used in low odor to no odor systems 🔷️
°A visual representation of the molecule sizes°
5) The wetness or dryness of a bead DOES NOT determine if it yellows when the liquid and powder react. Yellowing is common with low/no odor systems. There's usually an inhibition layer that needs to be filed off before filing and shaping. Sometimes the yellowing clears. We use these at state board so as not to pass out from the fumes.
6) Like Max from enailcouture, it is VERY unprofessional to hash this out for the world to see. The beauty industry is small and you NEVER know who knows who. A private inbox to you for a chat could have squelched the gossip. A lot of your subscribers are hers as well. I shan't not return. Professionalism is EVERYTHING! Once you get a bad reputation in the industry, cancel all the parties and invites. I understand that this is her baby yet things go wrong sometimes. Be open to constructive criticism and make adjustments that improve your product/service and people will keep rocking with you. Consistency and customer service oriented will keep you fed and booked.
This will only benefit you. Same as how it did Dipped in Pretty. What was meant for evil turned out for good because now more people know her name and yours. And you two rock with each other! Keep up the good work 💅🏿

@@kellyv2169 be patient with yourself. Practice, practice, practice. Healthy nails are better than pretty nails. Structurally sound nails are better than pretty nails. Invest in a few quality brushes, you're going to ruin at least one accidentally. There's no such thing as bad nail art. Almost(saying this lightly) EVERYTHING can be fixed with a little glitter and or rhinestones---don't over do it cause then the nail looks trashy. Learn your color wheel. This will also help you with your makeup. Colors that look good on the feet DO NOT necessarily look good on the hand, especially during the changing of the seasons. Don't be afraid to wear non matching hands and feet. Swatch colors on a popsicle stick in order to see their true color before applying. This saves your nails and time. Proper preparation prevents popping and lifting. Oily nail beds NEED an acid primer, PERIOD or hard gel. If not, acrylic, polygels and gel polish will peel off in a matter of days. You might get 7 days with dip powders. Learn the structure of a nail enhancement and learn to build the structure properly so as to avoid lifting and injury. Don't fluid the cuticle area with monomer. That can cause contact dermatitis over time. Learn to hand file proficiently in the event the efile breaks. This goes back to build the structure of the nail correctly because it eliminates the need to do a lot of filing. Hope this helps!
Interesting what you stated in regard to the low odor and how it has a tendency to yellow. Mia Secret? They did away w/ their no odor monomer. I saw one of the nail techs (Natali Carmona)on here using it. After about 30min, STILL not fully hardened. Yet no yellowing. Same for Young Nails brand's no odor monomer(Nailed y Nikki tried it).No yellowing. Dry time ok. I really think it was just a chemical imbalance w/ Suzy's product. Goes to show you.......some people can't take criticism

If I'm being honest, I've seen so many nail channels but none of them have stood out to me. But I kid you not I will sit in my room and watch your channel for hours just mesmerized at your work!!! Biggest inspiration for doing my own nails!
I love how you are informative on every step of every product you use. Then you describe the texture and consistency, it makes sense to do that just so everyone knows how every single item works, sets etc. And some might think it's overkill but I personally find it very hopeful , since I am a hands on learner myself. So I just want to thank you for all your info,, great job!
I think her monomer to acrylic ratio is just fine. If you've seen her use the same ratio consistently, that means it works for her. And she be making some bomb nails, so let's not be to nit-picky.
But getting the ratio right is important because if using too much liquid you might get contact dermatitis. Not saying she is doing It wrong but its good to be cautious.

All talking about Evie's recent review of the NCE acrylics. I lost a LOT of respect for Suzie after that.

I'm teaching myself acrylic nail application. I tried several brands. Once I felt the fine mill of the Mia Secret powder, I was in love. It's just perfect for me. I love how easy it is to work and the application needs almost no filing...it's like satin😍
One trick I found works really well for a rough buff block is to wipe the nail with acetone to smooth the scratches (just in case you don't have a finer buff block)

I'd say the most important thing to remember for every nail technician that is out there- You are always learning new things to perfect your craft-I've done nails for ever since I can remember. I'm always humbled by every other nail technician and all of their skills.
Just a tip when using a new acrylic brush: the product that’s used to keep the brush in shape while being shipped needs to be dry rubbed out until no powder is left. Then it needs to be washed in warm water before putting it inside the monomer. This might be why the brush wasn’t working as well for you. Hope this helps. Keeping doing the great work as usual 😘
Mía secret is my go to recently, it’s easy to work with and affordable, two things I need because I am no professional. I just do mine and my moms nails 😅😅

@@halezelet7385 like with every other brand of has a lot to do with how you prep the nail. I always make sure to clean the nail bed, use a primer and a nail prep before applying the acrylic and my moms nails(I only ever do hers) last up to a month 🥰

Mia's Secret is always out of their beginner kits. Lol. I tried buying it back in January, because I wanted to start doing my own nails. They were out for about a month. I had to buy the regular sizes, and then get a cheap $20 acrylic set and throw away the acrylic from that set. Lol. I really do like the product though, its slow enough to where a beginner like me can work at it. And the Melody Susie nail drill!

Mystery Girl It just takes a lot of filing and patience. My first set took me about 8 hours but I was working on myself.

Kniah Brooks I didn’t order a Hand to work on so I will be too i kind of started practicing with what I have rn which it just in gel but it’s sealing gel so it was just to practice designs and I’ve never worked with acrylic.
