I think this song is about her suicide attempt. In one universe she wants fame, money, etc but it ends in a sacrifice. When she dies in this universe it gives life to her real self (her real self had a failed attempt in which she popped pills) which you see at the end where she wakes up. Now she has to live with this, that she does not want to live in this world but she almost has no choice... the artistry behind the video is just amazing

From the hand banging of the guy to the costumes, the funeral, the window ... everything !! I highly recommend you to watch it. The video will make much more sense then !
