Not what you see . There’s a part of cuba nobody shows and that nobody cares about . The city of cuba is dirty and poor no food can’t afford anything ! What people show you about cuba isn’t real life . Must have to visit to see your full real experience.
If you think that wide and clean roads are something special, you have no say in what city is nice.

Estoy en Europa y es muy triste ver como la bella arquitectura de Cuba se cae. El patrimonio cultural de la isla deberia ser salvado en una futura Cuba de libertad. Hay que tomar el ejemplo de Varsovia, Polonia, que fue arrasada durante la II Guerra Mundial, pero la reconstruyeron creando una réplica exacta de como era. En Cuba deberia hacerse lo mismo.

My mom went to the hotel mentioned, on her honeymoon.. It's called Hotel Nacional, which means hotel national in english. She said it is beautiful inside, with Art Deco architecture, and furniture. Also spacious rooms.

Ahora que Cuba se está abriendo lentamente al mundo, existe la amenaza de perder esos viejos edificios y ser demolidos y reemplazados por edificios modernos... Espero que no sigan el ejemplo de Manila que había perdido sus edificios españoles, derribados y reemplazados por otros modernos y perdido para siempre su herencia española
