- I've been so busy getting my store open that I missed my usual Saturday night video. But I was determined to get one out tonight, so I chose some really easy projects. I used old wooden clothes pins, a thrifted rolling pin, and an old amber jar that my mom had saved and my sister gave to me. I love how easy they were to make and how they all turned out.

When you first started working on the rolling pin, I thought I don't know if I like the idea of putting an image on it. I didn't think it would look that good. Boy, was I wrong! It's beautiful. I can see that selling quickly.

The shop looks awesome and I loved the little things you crafted...You will get in the groove soon with stuff to craft at shop.
Today was much better for me. I was just stressing over not having what I needed. It's ok, I'll bring it in tomorrow is my attitude now.
Congratulations on the opening of your store! The stamp on the clothespins looks great. I'm gonna redo mine and stamp them like that. I wish I lived close, I'd definitely come shop. Everything you make is so cute. Have you had a lot of people come in and shop? I'm wishing you nothing but the best!
Thank you! It is a very small town and I can go a while before someone comes in but I keep busy in between... lol
Sandy how cute are those laundry pins?, very cute I’d say.
You’re “On a roll” with that sweet rolling pin 🤭
Congratulations on your store.
Best wishes for great success. 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you! I love to do small things that turn out cute.
Clothes pins were cute. I like how you used an image on it.
I thought you did a wonderful job on rolling pin. It turned out perfect. Painting the handles with that perfect color green that was popular in that era looked so good n where you sanded, it shows the wear on it after it being used over time.
You must share the color green you used. On video it looks like perfect green.
I want you to know I’m wishing you much success in your store.
Buy, buy, people!
♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟
Thank you! The green was a color I mixed with different greens a while back. Those little Dollar Tree plastic bottles with the lids really keep my paint for a while.
Cute projects ! Best wishes with your store front !!
Thank you! On my way in to the store here shortly.
Hi Sandy, I'm so happy to see ya! I use Flonase nasal spray for allergies. And guess what they are in little tiny Amber bottles and I pried off that rim, and it's the cutest little bottle you ever want to see. So if you know anybody that uses Flonase ask them to see the bottles and you got cute little shelf sitter bottles that you can put a little sprigs of Sweet Annie in so cute
OH! I will be looking for someone that uses it. Thanks for the tip!!!
@sandyscountrycrafts I hope everything is good with your store! Sending good vibes and prayers! I say this to my daughter and the girls I work with..... have a great day, make alot of money! 🤑
💗
That rolling pin is so cute!!!
Best of luck with your store front. I had one downtown Enid, but when we thought that we were going to move to TN, I closed it 😢
Oh I would have come by if I had known! Wished you still had it!
A true diyer has "dirty" looking hands, it's an occupational hazard 😆😂. I love primitive, farmhouse is beautiful, but my heart lies with primitives. You make don't of the BEST I've seen, especially when you can only use what you have. I'm true primitive fashion, you have such a talent. I love watching you work 💙💙
Thank you so much! I love primitive but with the store I find I have to go outside that box. But I love to craft no matter what it is. And yes dirty hands are is an occupational hazard. 🤣
Sandy your store is awesome. How is the business doing? I wish you the best on this new adventure. Good Luck.
Thank you! It is slow. It is a very small town. Thankfully my rent is really low which helps.
@@sandyscountrycrafts Oh ok well maybe word will get out. Wish you the best again.
Congratulations on the store opening! Adorable crafts. what are your store hours? I'm praying that the store is wildly successful for you. 😊
Thank you so much! Hopefully it does good but if not, I sure tried.
questions: Why did you spray your paper on rolling pin with hair spray? Also what software did you resize in. Love your work! Thanks for sharing.
I used the hair spray to keep the ink from smearing. I used my printer. I use Silhouette Studio. It is a free software that works very well for resizing.
Your shop is so cute!!! How much do you put on those clothespins and rolling pin? I loved all of your projects ❤❤❤ I just use my clothespins in staging, never considered putting a price on them.
@@Crawfordrusticcreations The rolling pin is 12.00 and the clothes pins are 5.00. I just sold one of the clothes pins.
Where do you get your Sweet Annie?
I grew my own last year. I tried this year but my pumpkin vines took them over.
How did you print the word Laundry
I used Silhouette Studio. I made little tags and added the laundry to each one. I used the print and cut and had a bunch ready to use. They came in pretty handy.
@@sandyscountrycrafts the pins was so adorable. And the little tag was so cute with the pins. I'm going to make me some for my Laundry room and put them in a little box or basket. Thanks for the cute idea.
@@susanhaggart3675 That would be so cute!
