Even though both hatice and Ibrahim hurt each other. Hatice telling him that he was a slave and that she was the ottoman empire “which she isn't”🤨 princes are way more important. Then Ibrahim cheating on her. No one deserves to find out that your wife lied to you, telling you that your child was dead when they were actually alive and hidden away. Same thing with Nigar. No matter what happened no one deserves that. To me…Hatice had done one of the most terrible things in the show.

To be fair, almost all characters are, because the entire show is deeply conservative and paints human nature very badly, especially in cruel enviroments that, paradoxically, is the only thing that can keep an order and control people. Although Hurrem was selfish and cruel. In a way, she had a whole "tribe" of sons just so she could compete with Mahidevran, whose position wanted from the first days in Harrem. In a way, she sentenced them all to rivalry and fighting over throne not thinking enough about consequences. She kinda became aware of that problem later on at the very end, feeling bad conscience to the degree, but it was too late at that point.
@@Roseily-k1s Not Ibrahim. She and Mahidevran were morally grey. Ibrahim was sadistically cruel and had an inability to truly see anyone besides himself as a real person and he acted according to that. Hurting the people he was supposed to love even and feeling no remorse. He is far worse than any of the major female characters of this show.
Really Hürrem? She talked to Ibrahim that he was with Hatice busy with privy chamber instead of being busy with their own problems, while she always put her nose on other matters, instead of being busy with her kids and how fix the bad situation between Selim and Bayezid! What an irony!!
@Dreamfyre Hürrem started since the beginning to forbid to go other women in privy chamber, while she knew that it was the rule and tradition! And then, she tried to kill them all!
@Dreamfyre Neither Hatice nor Ibrahim were, strictly speaking, not allowed to send women to Suleiman, but that absolutely doesn't make their actions excusable. Particularly when Ibrahim purposefully selected Hürrem's best friend and, in all honesty, Hatice's schemes to hide Firuze caused active disorder in the harem (not to mention almost turning Affife against Hürrem). I find myself having to repeat this part ad nauseum too (despite the fact that people like you aware already aware)-the privy chamber _is_ among the duties of the head of harem, like it or not.
