My brother no church will save anyone. Church is a place of worship and encouragement. SDA is like any other denomination. The bible has all answers. I pray that all in this world will be saved, but the reality is it will not happen. So 'yes' you were born and raised SDA or what? Methodist have doctrines, Catholics have their & your new found church has it's own... is it perfect? I think we should encourage each other and not discourage and scare people. God bless us ALL
@AVoiceForNF Jude 3 tells us to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. defending the bible against the sda church is not "putting down\" but rather uplifting the gospel and exposing darkness. thank you for your compliment. | am a voice and video actor and I am humbled when people recognize the gift God has given to me. I actually do preach against other cults and have preached/taught churches on the sda church as well as others i.e . LDS , JW, Mohamaddism etc
@ladyEulaelie Part 1 I'm glad you have not fallen for the perfectionsim that is taught. As for plagarism, plagarism is literary theft. It is clear that we are told to not steal in both the old and new testaments. She used writings WITHOUT credit and further said that all her words came directly from God. It may or may not have violated laws at the time but it violated the "though shalt not steal" & thou shalt not bear false witness laws found in the old & new testaments.

Jude 3 tells us to contend (defend and struggle against opposing forces)for the faith. The SDA churc is in gross err. I speak with SDAs Mormons, JWs, humanists, etc. The problem is bad doctrine leads people to Hell. Truth is important and I ENCOURAGE people to believe in Jesus and His finished work

We must strive to sin less & less leaning on Jesus but we in and of ourselves will never be perfect. I did not leave the sda church because I thought it to be imperfect and other churches perfect----please be careful of your assumptions and to not bear false witness. I will not be an SDA again because it opposes the gospel of the finished work of Christ
Dear One, How familiar are you with the books The Great Controversy and Early Writings. As a Baptist Christian these writings were pivotal in my journey with Christ. I continue to read these works after I read the scriptures. May God Bless you with abundant truth, David

@bornbythesea Indeed you have the right to read what you want, but as a Christian I must warn you that her writings are full of error,. If you are seekign spiritual food then read the Bible. Ohter good works are found in Luther, John Macarthur, Barnhouse, Walter martin and RC Sproul

Especially when directed at a messenger of God. My concern is that people hear things that please them, go along with the crowd, and make serious errors that will lead to damnation if not repented of. She has many of them in her personal library which can be seen @ Andrews University (I have eyeballed them myself) her Elmshaven home and elsewhere. Theft is theft EGW is a thief. Unfortunately the SDA church & White estate have tried to minimize & spin her "fair use" and say the copyright laws were different. Not unlike how American history will say that Columbus "discovered" America and that Europeans "settled it when natives were already here and the land was stolen. It could be likened to somebody being the descendant of royalty, if I traced my family tree back and found I was related to John Calvin it would be a kind of "badgeof honor" If an SDA can trace their SDA roots back generations then it is possible their ancestor was an EGW contemporary or "origional SDA" which SDAs love to discuss in church meetings, group studies etc

Much of her writings that actually make sense were stolen-SDAs will tell you she "borrowed" them. Pg 23 of GC, she said the people of the world scoffed whle the animals entered the ark--she blatantly adds to the Bible. Throughout her EW & testimony books she repeately bashes people & ignores the Matt 18 protocol
@jonnygotz2343 SDA Jesus SOP vol 1 p 17, 18 God himself conferred special honor on Christ and made it known to the angels that Christ was now equal , therefore Christ was not Equal to the Father at least until this time. Ellen & James White along with many of the founding fathers were non-trinitarian. The trinity was not accepted until after 1930. See Antitrinitarian youtube videos

i agree with ellen white on that the Jesus lowered himself lower then an angel to be here and when he rose he became high then the angels
