Happened to me when my oldest niece was a baby. I was a teen inexperienced with knowing how to properly hold babies however so of course she cried every time I touched her or talked to her at 5-7 months. But over time she eventually warmed up to me by age 8 months and beyond and didn’t cry anymore when I started babysitting her more often. Still not yet one year old, she was working on trying to walk. I got the hang of holding her right, feeding, and diapering the baby. Now by 1 year old, she kept me wrapped around her finger.

I don’t want kids, but I LOVEEE kids 😭. They are the most adorable cutest things on this earth. When I see adults, I think about the fact that they were babies and were so cute. That’s how I humanize people and am able to be understanding/compassionate with folks. Ugh BABIES ARE DA CUTEST
I'm not a mother, but I'm an older sister, and it still feels the same. You get to see them growing up, and while my brother is still at that terrible twos, my mom just had my baby sister about 2 weeks ago, and I realized just how much I'd forgotten about Xavier being that small.
same here except I'm the oldest of 7 and I'm only 15 my mother is single now, and I'm homeschooled, she has a full time job so I'm basically the kids mother and tbh I LOVE it but it so sad to see them grow up so fast :(
