I audibly laughed when you pulled out the clasp from inside the Cles. But, I LOVE the XL Cles. lol such a fun piece and a great conversation starter too. I wouldn't know why ppl wouldn't enjoy the different patterned Chanel tweed. Really love it as it reminds me of a cozy hand stitched quilt. 💖
I had the Pochette Bosphore too! Bought it in NYC in 2006 and used it SO much until one day it got put in a drawer and forgotten about. I tried to get The Lion to use it, but he wasn't interested, so I sold it a few years ago and I'm 50/50 on whether I regret it or not! 💖
Fun video, Meredith. 🌸 I really like your Gucci Marmont. I can see you reaching for it a lot. The iridescent Chanel CF is some real eye candy. I think with the iridescent, a little goes a long way, as in, if it was a mini, you would have many occasions to wear it for evening events or date nights, but I see the medium being used during the day on spring and summer holidays. It is a keeper. The giant Cle, I would mount on the wall somewhere as pop art, like in a study. The Chanel belt bags are fab. The patchwork Chanel makes any black outfit sing, I bet.
Omg the giant cles. It’s fabulous and ridiculous at the same time. I literally LOLed when you pulled out the clasp. So comical. I would love to own one and actually use it.
Meredith, I loved seeing these unusual bags! It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who likes to ver off the usual favorites. The ‘giant’ Channel is insanely beautiful!!!!
Thank you so much for this series. Your collection is beautiful and totally a work of art. I love hearing the stories that come with each item. Much love ❤
The Bloomsbury reminds me of the Odeon, which is newer, and it's a great travel bag too; I've got the larger one and can fit in water bottle, umbrella, wallet, phone, sunglasses, snacks. I've put that thing through the ringer and the other day my Fendi SA asked me if it was a new piece. Shout out to LV and the durability of the damier ebene, nice to see your bag is still kicking and looking good after so many years!
Omg I didn't know Paddington is viral with the teens 🤣 I bought mine for $200 in Japan a few years ago but yes omg it's so heavy and chunky but I still adore it because it reminds me of the fashion from The OC and The Hills. My mum hates my Paddington but I love it, but I only use it for little trips and brunch dates ❤️❤️
18:41 So happy to see this one mentioned! The Bloomsbury PM has been my (almost) daily bag for the past 12 years. It’s been through hell but still looks like new. Love it love it love it! 😍 Loving collectionmas btw, really appreciate all the work you put into it for us to enjoy ❤
Loved this video.❤ I just purchased the pink Gucci supermini. I've heard it can be converted to a belt bag; if you are aware of how to accomplish this, can you pls tell me how? Thx & Merry Christmas, Meredith.
I bougjt a mini paddington some Years ago for like 250 Euro - it seemed so relevant again with Giant Hardware and a Hand Carry top handle . It’s also Not so Heavy as i Imagine larger Sizes will be !
Hello Meredith ❤️love your videos, have been watching you from the beginning. I recently rewatched your videos from 2 years ago and you looked double your size . U look amazing 🤩 and it seems like you are on Ozempic.
Oh you make me laugh when you talk about the dialogue going on in your head lovely Meredith. I do the same. 😂OMG! The Chloe Paddington. I had a few but like you said it was so heavy as were most of the Chloe bags back then. You are still a young pup Meredith. I wish I was your age again. Next year I will be 67. OMG! the closer side to 70. I must say personally I don't feel that old and people tell me I look a lot younger, I'll pay them later, 🤣but my body and internally I feel 167. Just so much pain from head to toe as well as other health problems. I tell my specialists I'm a walking disaster.🤣 From the outside looking in no one would know there was anything the matter with me, especially that I always have a smile on my face. I don't like people to see my vulnerable side. Never mind , I'm a tough old bird and I get through. Much love. Jenni. XX 💞
@@JenniGower You too!! I hope You get Relief. You’re probably trying 1 million things anyway and don’t need any advice - by coincidence I’ve heard of several people who are married to Chinese partners who went to big Chinese traditional Medicine clinics in China for treatment of chronic pain and have had excellent results.. I’m saying this because i haven’t heard as many success stories for people getting Chinese treatment in the West. Apparently in China many people say with urgent things they go to modern medicine with chronic pain they go to Chinese traditional medicine. Now I guess that’s only reasonable if you have someone who is a native speaker come with you though .. just in case that that’s an option for you
@@dinavienna Thank you for this information. It is so very kind of you to do this for me. Unfortunately not an option for me at this time. Thank you again. XX
@ you re very welcome !! I know it’s a very unlikely option .. I hope you find remedies for yourself, be it medicine or natural remedies or the right physio therapy or relaxation techniques .. I remember my late mothers struggle with intense pain with her bone metastases and screw and plates she carried in her spine from related surgery. She wasn’t willing to do the opiate plasters for a while (until it got unmanageable). She tried lots of stuff and was surprisingly successful with a sort of magnesium salt dissolved into an oily spray . She s long gone but I still use it for occasional joint pain. I hope you find your miracle too ❤️
(hint) in the 80s women were not tiny. That was just Karl saying he didn't want fat people in his clothes, like so many fashion houses. Also the Japanese market is on the smaller size anyway. Your Gucci is indeed a Marmont. Great assortment as always!
Women in the 80s compared to now, were indeed tiny. I was around and struggling with my weight and to find clothes, so I'd know. Same size now, I'm considered 'normal' (still quite overweight) and the clothes industry has deemed me a Medium size. Quite absurd, since my joints, predictably, don't agree.
I think the luxury houses do that with shoes too. Luxury shoes are pretty narrow. They did not offer wide sizes most of the time. I think they are marketing to the slender women. I know that is a generalization, but as a petite with wide feet, that has been my experience when trying on most styles of expensive shoes.

The colorful tweed Chanel patchwork is my favorite ❤.
It’s a beautiful bag
Lovely bags😊💞

@livingluxwithmeredith your welcome
It’s so nice to see bags that we usually don’t see ☺️ and the know the story behind them 💖 Day 9 ✅
Thank you 😊
That Chanel 19 in Maxi looks amazing. I tend to like smaller bags but I can create reasons why I need that Maxi!
I’m sure you can.

I have it and trust me, ITS HEAVY! But i love it and bought it because of my love of key cles and unique LV pieces!
You absolutely couldn’t hike with it, it would slow you down!

Meredith, I was waiting to see the huge LV Denim Patchwork thats on the bottom shelf! I wish I could play in your bag room for a day!
You’ll see it in my denim collection video

Fun! I’ll have to ask Hannah if she knows girls looking for the paddington bag
I would be interested to know if it’s just in Australia or worldwide interest in a vintage Paddington

That’s right!
You could put me inside and take me home!!
Ps it’s a super marmont
I’ll happily smuggle you back to Oz!

13:43 Haha poor Amelia, but it would be a good way to save on an airfare if she ever visit Australia and you were going to another place from Sydney

The Gucci super mini Marmont goes as a belt bag too.
I have one...how?
I'd love to convert it.

I believe that bag is the Bosphorous??
You are correct!
the giant clay is so cool. too bad it is not practical.
It’s just too heavy

I’m absolutely not on a weight loss medication, I’ve had gastric sleeve which I am very open about.
I think the South Bank by Vuitton replaced the Bloomsbury.
Thanks for the info
Wait that Burberry bag hasn’t sold?!?!
It has now. Sold yesterday in fact.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@ Italian shoes are really narrow so I feel you there.
As American girth increased, so did egos. And thus began the practice of vanity sizing.
When I was a teen I had a 23” waist and my mum had a belt from her 20’s and it didn’t come close to being done up on me, crazy!
American Standard Diet (and the famous pyramid) has been our downfall.
@ Seriously!
Something definitely changed!
Meredith you tripping. You can't be a size 2
My clothes say I am.
Oh my, pardon me, you must be tiny. Casually showing my personal bias
You definitely have to keep your LV Messenger bag. Besides the sentiments, that style is timeless. 🩷
You're right. I love it so much.
