If you want to buy the bag be aware there may be wait time because its quite popular and most suppliers I tried to purchase from had no stock and I ended up waiting about a month for it.

I would add a water filter purification system like a Grayl Geopress. I would also add a thermal tarp (the kind with grommets in the corners) paracord or bankline 36 and a 2-3 liter water bladder. Headlamp with extra batteries. IFAK (with tourniquet and pressure dressing and small bandages blister foot care and meds sunscreen) Food items like energy bars, trail mix, protein powder and electrolytes.

it was just an example I also have a more complete kit in my hiking bag, also living in AU near bushland you don't need a whole lot of stuff, 1 not a lot of guns so probably dont need tourniquet etc and 2 lots of natural resources so don't rlly need to pack food if u don'f want to. Also that bottle I brought isn't insulated so can boil water in it, but I agree probs best to bring a water filter for the convenience

If you are going to be using a knife you should pack a TQ. Accidents do happen. Boiling water sometimes isn't a option. Like if your in a urban area or wet weather or you don't want to attract unwanted attention with a fire/smoke. I carry a Grayl or a sawyer squeeze filter depending on the season. Emergency food is optional but it is good to have options. Depending on what your environment and resources I would add fishing kit items too. And trapping items. Going minimal is a challenge but balance it with being practical. @@UndoubtablySo

You should check the product page on the website but i think the water bladder pouch is also designed to hold a plate

Also which size Admin pouch is it ?

    • @UndoubtablySo

it is similar to the sunglasses pocket in the rush series bags but there is not felt lining. The admin pouch I am using is called the Flex Admin Pouch from 5.11 tactical - www.511tactical.com/au-en/flex-admin-pouch.html

@@UndoubtablySo 👍🏽 just ordered the bag off Ebay with a discount code and the pouch from a 5.11 dealer.
Thank you for the video, it helped with finally making a decision as this will be a travel bag.

Received my bag a few weeks ago and finally got around to looking through it, couple of observations:
      - where you attached the admin panel did your bag come with blank piece of black material attached to the velcro ?.
      - No drainage in the expandable part of the bag (jacket/ motorbike helmut spot.

Do you like to shake your hands when you shoot a video? It's not a vodka martini, it's a camera.
