- Piper PA-18 Super Cub Replica C-FOBP is seen on the approach and landing at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. Love the look of this general aviation aircraft on these massive tundra tires!

Iv'e always loved these little guys with the massive tundra tires and always wanted to fly in one with these tires it looks like it would be fun bouncing in for a landing. Glad you captured this one Jesse :)
Thanks Ed! Yes, they do look great with the massive tires. Bet they must feel quite bouncy when landing on a paved runway.
very beautiful plane ☺️
Nice plane being well flown!!!!
Great catch mate. Love the PA-18 And the Tundra wheels :)
Thanks a lot!
Nice video. Those Super Cubs look like they fly themselves.
Instant like! What a beautiful Piper Super Cup. I would love to have an own one and fly to the tundra :) Superb video, Jesse!
Thanks so much Matt! This Super Cub was definitely a fun one to see.
Top Video and great Quality
Thanks my friend!
Stunning video man! It's a great looking plane! Liked!
Thanks very much!
That's an superb catch mate! These monster-wheels look really cool too! Well done, buddy!
Thanks a lot!
Ty Jesse, very very nice. I have always liked this plane, never had the opportunity to fly one. Best livery i have ever seen on a super cub. I also like the all yellow livery which seems to be the norm. I would have really liked to fly one, and land in a rural area maybe in a dry creek bed with those big tires, lol, just for the challenge. Ty for going out of your way to post this video, great film/audio work as per usual. Talk to you later pal. Btw, great replication.
Hi Steve, Oh that would be so nice to land in a rural area with this plane :) Dreaming is allowed, isn't it? Cheers Matt
@@matthiashaenni ty Matt, yes what a dream, i pray my health would get better. The older avionics on the super cub, talk about aviation 101, the big reason i would want to fly this plane is to get into rural areas, plus i hunt, fish, camp, would just really like it. Have a good day my friend, and btw what a livery on that plane you videoed the other day, really liked it. Outstanding pilot skills.
Thanks for watching Steve, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I like the look of this livery as well, what a beaut.
@@TheHDAviation yw Jesse, yes the livery is sharp
Very cool catch, nice light aircraft :-)
Thanks a lot!
Awesome video mate :-)
Thanks!
Now that's a bush plane :)
Nice plane and video. I have an R/C Super Cub, but with smaller tires.
Nice, that must be fun to fly!
Also Jesse, one of a very few planes you might want to supply with a tire plug kit, and small air compressor, lol, at least for where i might have tried landing one, lol, have a good day pal, ty again.
So true! 😄
@@TheHDAviation yes it is
Great shot Jesse! Those big tires look quite weird on such a small plane in my opinion. Still a nice plane to see. Big like! :)
Thanks very much Mylos!
I've a PA18!! In my opinion it is the best plane...
I like this plane, you are blessed to own one, enjoy my friend.
Very nice, must be a fun aircraft to fly!
Stunning footage, seems the back wheel was off the ground around 15 seconds after landing!
Thanks a lot!
Those huge wheels are looking "great" on the Super Cub.
I agree, bet they open up some remote destinations.
I think those wheels will make for a soft landing in the cabin.
I bet they would.
Pretty sure he's going to need some larger tires.
😂
The large tires simply add weight and are unnecessary for paved runways, which this thing probably sees 99% of the time. The "tundra" is a long way from Nelson, B.C.
They do look pretty cool though 😉
