the propagation set up looks great Bill. I can't wait til you do some more outdoor gardening. Maybe you can show us your outdoor prep and what seeds you're going to start =)
I am so excited to be able to garden outside again... I was thinking about filming something... stay tuned... I'm growing tired of my houseplants...lol I need a change...lol
2 growth points! that's amazing! i just received a plantmail of a florida ghost today! he has a small root system now, but i hope he'll grow more roots soon. subbed!
Nice propagations. I'd like to see you do a vermiculite propagation to see how well that works. I've heard that vermiculite holds nutrients and helps more with root development. 👍
Thank you for the update! My ghost is growing so wonky and leggy, i wanted to give it a trim a long time ago, but wasn‘t brave enough yet. But you’re giving me confidence!!
I got tired of killing anthuriums, so I read everything I could find on them and put my new found “knowledge “ to work. So far I’ve managed to reduce my kill rate from 100% to 75% . I guess that’s a win ? Well maybe not, as the 1 plant out of the 4 that’s still ok is mostly producing flowers and very few leaves. Well at least it’s pretty......for now.
That's Progress :) Anthuriums are weird plants... I too am having a hard time with them... but am getting a little better for now...lol until i get too confident. lol they seem to want high humidity... but not 100% humidity...lol... the roots want to humid but not wet... and if they get too dry the leaves yellow, LOL... a true test of Patience..lol...
I’d also recommend experimenting with the cheap anthuriums for a few months. That’s what I did, until I got the hang of them. Like Bill said above, they are a re tough plant to get the hang of. The ones from Lowe’s, Home Depot, grocery stores, etc are good and cheap. That way, if you kill them, it won’t be a major blow to the budget. Then when your confidence is up, splurge for a rare one. I’d recommend Crystallinum. 😊
Great video! I have a florida green and I've noticed some of the leaves at the top of the plant are getting much smaller. Could you suggest where I'm going wrong with it please? Wishing you success with the baby ghosts! 👻
Great content, very helpful! Keep it up with your props 🤞 Quick question! So I’ve been looking around online nurseries to buy one and I got confused cause from what I saw they there seems to be a Florida Ghost AND Florida Ghost GREEN (there is a certain difference on the price tag as well) are they actually two different plants? Is it just some kind of mislabeling? How can I tell between the two? Hope you see this cause this is getting frustrating :( Thank you in advance Keep up your great job xoxo
pop it in a large ziplock bag with some damp moss.. squeeze out any excess moisture from the moss. add some air to the bag like a balloon. give it bright indirect light and wait. open the bag every few days to refresh the air... and wait... the humidity will help the node sprout
How exciting ! Your propagations are looking great! 😍💚
Thanks :)

I just got a bottom cut rooted with no leafs , how should I rehab this plant ? It has at least 1 node
pop it in a large ziplock bag with some damp moss.. squeeze out any excess moisture from the moss. add some air to the bag like a balloon. give it bright indirect light and wait. open the bag every few days to refresh the air... and wait... the humidity will help the node sprout
Thanks for the info
