Two years ago Kim Demegillo asked about a Master Volume. What a good idea. Cos on stage you’re gonna get a sound shock because of the potential difference in volume of each patch. All the rest is great!!
You just need to match a specific volume to each channel . Set each channel you want to 20 for instance then hit save twice and you won’t have the jump between channels

It sounds better with a really funny and easy hack, just add an extra cable you have or even a broken one plugged into the headphone jack of the pedal, either one will make the pedal sound so much better. I have tested it myself.
My mate George gave me one to go with my Peavey Tracer. Its wicked. And have the Windows 10 drivers so works a treat with my DAP.
I saw one of these units for sale and was quite enthusiastic about buying it. Watching this video has put me off buying it completely.

I have not had interest for no boxes after I tried a BOSS ME50 25 years ago cause I got a relation to it combined with a Marshall transistor 20W 50/50 drive from those two & Seymour Duncan SH 1 or something / The sweet tone I not forget and need a new BOSS now cause it simply sounds best of all out there

I miss my BOSS M 50 COSM Pedals with my BOSS BR 600 effects processor portable mini recording studio I still have without the pedals - just the same Morley Wah Wah Volume Distortion multi pedal. I am always looking for the cheap deal that might replace my COSM BOSS pedal effects if I see it I will know - but not yet -will purchase new or used if I see it

I am looking for some extra tones to add to my Mesa Boogie Lodestar Special. It is lovely for cleans and most distortions, but I am looking for a little versatility. Anyone know if this is a good addition to a tube amp?

I heard from a friend that it is a great piece of hardware, however I am no longer buying their products. I have had it with them not following up with software to keep old products useful. I have POD XT Live, it is useless these days. I have the Studio KB-37, they discontinued the software that made it work well. I have the original bean, which I still use when on tour, but do not trust Line 6 to follow up with support with any hardware that requires software. They get no more of my money.

Could I get some help to set up my me-25 for surf music tone like the Beach Boys and Dick Dale. I believe it's clean with a bit of reverb, but I'm not sure. I've downloaded all the extra tone packs from the Boss website. I'm using a Epiphone Les Paul Traditional also.
What kind of amp are you using?
I have a Boss Cube, the small one. When I use the Pedal I turn down the effects on the amp.

Hey, it doesn't have master volume knob as you may imagine rather when another effect isn't assigned to it, the volume pedal operates as the volume control. So for example is the whammy effect is assigned to the pedal then obviously it won't control the volume but let's say it doesn't have any effects assigned to it as in the case with some of the user tones, the default setting for the pedal is volume control. Hope this helps.
Tried it, didn't like it. Compared with a 20 year old Line 6 POD 2.0 and well lets just say I'm selling the ME-25. There was no comparison for both ease of operation and sound quality the POD stomped all over the Boss.

it's a nice clean sounding amp on the clean channel
it does have crunch channel,
my personal opinion is , it's not a rectifier sounding amp.
it is a , (what guitarists like to call) "A Trans Tube" Amp, but many don't know what that actually means
let me explain that at the end ok.
so, it won't give you that killer scream like Dime does on Cemetary gates for example, but then again, that's what your effects are for
in my opinion this is nice raw sounding amp to start with and then add the effects in series with this sound
highly recomend it.

back in the day , long ago in a galaxy far far away , the transistor radio was invented.
now if one researches on google, PNP and NPN transistors you will find a pretty good explanation of what a transistor is or a semi conductor

well guys,
1. yes it needs a few seconds or so
2. that doesn't mean that it's shit, because when you compare the sound that you'll get from an Old Transistor tube as opposed to our current Circuit Transistors, there really is no comparison
3. it's not taking time to warm up,
it's taking time to conduct, in simple terms... so that the electricity gets from one side of the tube to the other,
once that happens, your all good and the sound will be great.
but.. each to his own

How on earth do I add reverb to the sound? It's supposed to be was but i can't do it and the instruction manual is next to useless. I feel so stupid, but this pedal is not intuitive to use at all.
+Mark Chaplin You're not alone. I wish I had seen your comment before i bought the thing. Before I could figure out how to use it at all, the display is lighting up "Bt"... I've killed $6 worth of batteries in one day. Fuck this thing.
Hold down write and then press exit. Next press the extreme/reverb button. If its on then you already have reverb. The reverb is not that much and you cant add more. That really sucks

This might be a dumb question, but what kind of USB cable do I need to record and play? The USB slot on the ME 25 is a different shape to the average USB you would buy.
the plug for the ME-25 is different. the other end of the cable is a standard usb.
I use a simple printer usb cable. That works. And also you can connect your guitar to others programs like Guitar Rig or Amplitube throught this pedal interface.
