@@bt3722 no it isn’t. Sous vide would mean it is completely immersed in a water bath and held at a very specific temperature the whole time. This is none of those things. This is basically just steaming.
I've been married so many times I could bone ANYTHING. That's the kind of wordplay I have come to expect from the man who raps for The Thriller. True professionalism at its best, he didn't even react to his own joke even after the punchline, he KNOWS how that joke is meant to be delivered. He pulled it off FLAWLESSLY!
too bad price's comedic talents were underused. he did have a bit of a droll delivery in some of his movies that worked but surprisingly it wasnt over the top for the 60s, 70s.
I watched this as a kid, my parents watched of course, and my mom loved to cook. I remembered it because it was so odd to me but for some reason thought it was the washing machine 😅 and my mom forgot it. Boned up on it now and didn't get the joke as a kid but just 😆 right now.
Basically he’s done a sous vide on the fish...i.e. the water bath that modern professional chefs use where the food is sealed in a bag and placed in hot water for a time to cook. Fish is usually about 56c so a dishwasher wouldn’t be far off that. Retains the flavour and is very hard to overlook. All the Michelin restaurants use one (A sous vide that is, not a dishwasher !)

@christophermarquez, you’re not wrong! Voice Actor Maurice Lamarche does a fine Vincent Price impression. Besides Mom’s son from Futurama, Lamarche also voices Vincent Van Ghoul in Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. Vincent Van Ghoul is a fictionalized version of Vincent Price, originally performed by Vincent Price in The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo!
"I've learned how to bone just a lot anything" God I fucking love Vincent Price.
“You been married as many times as I have, you learn to bone just about anything”
His greatest horror role. The idea of using a dish washer to cook a troute is simply unearthly.
Yeah that was freaking crazy, never seen, or thought of cooking in such a manner..hahaha
EXACTLY this thought I have also had xD
It’s the same as sous vide.

1:26 Did NOT see that joke coming

Price can turn even the most ridiculous setup into classy goldmines
That wasn't salmon that Vincent Price cooked in the dishwasher, that was a trout.
Truly a genius no one comes close to the classic Vincent Price
Why couldn't this man have lived forever?
He definitely should make the short-list for immortality.

I met him one time when I was about 12 years old. A remarkable man!
Too good for this world.
Oh he is eternal for sure! ❤
He would have LOVED an instant pot. I have his cookbook and it's fantastic!
I just scored it at a thrift store. For 16$. That's SIXTEEN dollars. I was there looking for a dish suitable for Daupinois. Got that as well.
That joke got me. It was so direct.
Take *_that,_* Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor! Even Vincent Price, the Lord Byron of the horror macabre, was resourceful.
He cooks TROUT. It's a trout.

the way he pronounces "aioli" 😂
Awooooli! :-)
Vincent legend 100%
Two great entertainers, both from America's Heartland!
Price sounds like the camp guy in family guy
This is surreal
I don't have a dishwasher. I must buy one to cook fish. I like steamed fish but don't want a smelly microwave.
The only way to cook a fish and use 4 gallons of water at the same time.

? Don't they have a dishwasher?
Do you have the segment with Eydie?
Vincent acted like a big ol' queen.. lol
Is it any good, though??
Try it and find out
Who’s here from Tom Scott
I'm here from a group in Facebook called 'A group where we all pretend to be fish'
I wanna know more about that Tom Scott video
Amazing!
So infuriating that the cameramen didn't take closeups. I would have loved to see what was inside the foil.
That’s a trout not a salmon
This guy sounds like the oldest son of mom from futurama
