I think I figured out the distribution of weapons vs Gloom swords. Enemies that would normally have weapons, like the Zonai enemies, have the normal weapons like bows and sticks. Enemies that don’t have weapons, like Keese, have the Gloom Sword.
It is said the Anchient Sages created the Sky Island to protect the Hero from Ganon after the Attack, welp, it seems like they failed

This was something I was thinking of wanting to try when I saw a glitch where you can have Phantom Gannon chase you down, but this looks so much more entertaining and it shows. Now to wait and see if there will be a download for this later on.

The reason for the swords is that phantom gannon cannot be without a weapon but if a weapon is already in the original enemy's hand, it cannot swap it.
Getting the Master Sword early would benefit you a lot, it has infinite durrability when encountering Phantom Ganons (no shit, I busted like 10 or 15 of them without the Sword ever breaking)

Especially considering this is a direct sequel to a popular game, meaning a lot of players will already know how to fight, it would have been pretty cool if instead of just a couple keese, there was an actual mini boss in that room

Phantom Ganons and gloom spawns are my worst nightmare because in hyrule castle there are 5 phantom ganons and I had to fight them twice but I beat somehow with the master sword also you did something that would be the hardest thing

Only thing that would make this even better is replacing Zelda's model in the falling cutscene with Phantom Ganon's to reward the player for all of the suffering. This could be an amazing randomizer option lol
