I would be honest my whole wedding I didn’t cry as much as I did when I saw my dad cry when he was giving me and my husband his speech about having our lives together, got me crying because I never saw my dad cry before. I would never thought I would ever married someone who lives in a different state then my parents, but I manage to leave my family, friends, job, schools, so every thing I know just to married to my husband. And I would never regret it. My husband always said my parents only loved me until I get married or at a certain age then we move on and get married. I’m so blessed to have a wonderful relationship with my mother in law, who loved me so much, I would never change that for anything.
It's so sad to ba a Daughter for this lifetime. You have to leave your family behind call another family is yours. I just wish that the guy will understand and love us more and respect us more it's not easy to leave your family behind. the 1st person you see it's your mom and dad when you were born or bring to this world. For all the guys out there please love and respect us woman we are stronger then what you think we are that's why we can leave our family behind and call your family my..
There’s a lot of love for this girl. Made me wish I had a daughter. Richard, take care of her like your own body. Love her & respect her til death do you part. God bless!!
I understand every and all my Hmong ladies thoughts and opinions, but remember that it take two to tie this knot. My Hmong sister, this isnt a departure, this isn't a goodbye. It a new chapter in your life and his. Hmong are the most well-culture group in this world. If my Hmong sister can come to understand that these tears are tears if joy and not sorrow, also my Hmong brother to understand to hold you on a much higher point for your sacrifices.
I love this! I know it's extra work for the videographers which is why there's not many out there but I love when you're able to capture the words shared to the bride. Beautifully captured and put together!
Wedding is a day of happiness. I believe those tears are happy tears. Connecting 2 families as one. Marriage is a bond between 2 clans more relative and more love if you know what you doing. Thanks for sharing. Ps basically you have never left your parents you just move out and start your own chapter of life with your new soulmate.
*😭😭😭* hmong wedding always brings tears.....not that it's just a sad moment, but also a very happy moment at the same time. It's always a joy to see those who were able to capture they're whole wedding on video and post it up. Congrats to the bride and groom.
I’m supposed to be getting ready to leave for work but here I am... watching and crying haha. Can we just appreciate the filmography? I mean I've helped prepared my sister's wedding and there's so much to do so many people around. I am thoroughly impressed on how these films were captured during this fast pace event. Even though it's filled with quick little snippets it was enough to show the whole wedding process, the emotions that comes with it, the unforgetful blessings. And best of all. None of these were scripted. That makes it all the more impressive. Really raw. Really original. Well done. 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤
Watching this makes me really emotional because I’m getting married soon too and it’s like..what everybody is saying, leaving your family behind and not living with them anymore is a weird feeling but also depressing cause we never leave our families before. To start a new chapter with the person you love is different. Thinking about how my marriage will be and how I’m gonna finally be a Nyab makes me cry since I’m leaving my family behind but can still help and visit them and especially im the oldest and my soon to be husband is also the oldest we’re gonna be helping them a lot. But for my wedding I don’t think a lot is coming though 😂😭
The girl singer have a very beautiful voice and the meaning of the song is also very emotional and beautiful at the same time. Many blessings to the newlyweds. May your love continue to blossom for years to come.💞💞💘💘
Such a beautiful Hmong wedding. Being a Hmong girl and knowing one day you’re going to leave you’re family to spend the rest of your life with the man you love is so sad.
My daughter is to finish her life as the daughter of another mother, my nyab is the daughter who will be with me, its sad but thats our tradition...is what my mother once told me.
From any women heart and perspective. She would like her man to kiss her every morning to wake her up and make breakfast for her. Treat her like a princess and never make her cry or heartbroken.
I’m mixed I’m Mexican and Philippine and my girlfriend is Hmong but her parents are really strict well her mom... but I really love her I want to marry my girlfriend !
Then start learning how to kowtow and bow to your future in laws. Be a loyal servant and your in laws will see the good in you. I personally stay from hmong chicks, it's not worth it.
It’s not about being a “loyal servant”. We call that helping each other out. And if helping out your family is consider a “servant” then you best go live under a rock lol
If they're both hmong, they'll come together before that for a shaman ritual perform on the mother before giving birth so she can have a successful labour.
Most likely the bride side is still shamanism. If both side are Christians i doubt their will be bowing. If they're Catholic, they still bow. I know this cause I have Catholic cousins and their Church still bows on funeral and very traditional like almost. Christians are not supposed to bow but groom just do it anyways out of respect. It's just to make the process go if they have no other choice. Christians do drink beer BTW. They just wanna make the process as smooth as possible in not being so uptight, strict, or crooked.
Awww such a beautiful wedding!! I’m engaged to a white guy right now and I really want a traditional Hmong wedding but how would that work if he doesn’t have a big family??
I would be honest my whole wedding I didn’t cry as much as I did when I saw my dad cry when he was giving me and my husband his speech about having our lives together, got me crying because I never saw my dad cry before. It’s hits different when parents talk in Hmong than in English it’s more emotional when they speak in Hmong...:/)

Traditional Hmong weddings are so so beautiful and have so much meaning behind two individuals coming together. 🥺

Dude I cried during my wedding and messed up my makeup, but it was worth it for the wonderful blessings from my parents. Beautiful wedding btw!
Wow... something I will never experience because I don’t have a mom or a dad. But I’m really here just for the amazing quality of this video.
The girl singer have a very beautiful voice and the meaning of the song is also very emotional and beautiful at the same time. Many blessings to the newlyweds. May your love continue to blossom for years to come.💞💞💘💘

When I got married I didn't have a mother to give me away. No one to fix my clothes. No hugs. No cries. No love. Watching this is sad.
That must have been so lonely. You're doing a great job holding on by yourself. I send you all my love and support ❤
Beautiful video, congratulations.

From any women heart and perspective. She would like her man to kiss her every morning to wake her up and make breakfast for her. Treat her like a princess and never make her cry or heartbroken.
So you wanted a servant not a man. Those are quite easy to find. Try going to the bar.
Beautifully captured.
God bless you guys to have a great life together keep life forever and family too!😇😇😇😇😇😇♾💯💯💯

Hmong people are big in respect and family. Everyone’s always there for each other and if you can’t handle that then don’t get involve.
