Joe. The choker is passed under the log with the help of the metal rod. Then, the chain is inserted in the choker hook and choked. The rod is then passed thru the opening of the cone. Finally, the grab hook is attached one link of the choker, as close as possible to the cone so the cone don't fall off the nose of the log.
