Would love to see a video on how to make a pulley system to pull groceries up to 3rd floor balcony. Thanks, this 61 year old grandma would love your help.
We understand how convenient this system would be! That said, a capstan winch may not be the best way. If you search a little on TH-cam, you can find other systems with drum winches mounted on a jib. Good luck!
It can be done easily. But you'd want a wireless control otherwise, while you're going up to the third floor to off-load your empty crate of groceries, someone on the ground will have stolen your groceries.
Dear Christian thank you very much for your very useful tutorial clip. Please help me with my bicycle hoist in garage. I am using 5x single sheave pulleys with 2 point loads:there is one load lifts at handlebar and another load lifts at the saddle. I have to put too many effort to hoist my bicycle and consider to replace those singles pulley with double sheave pulleys. Unfortunately I do not have much space as the ceiling is not high enough for vertical pulley stacking. on top of that I cannot imagine how I could arrange double sheave pulleys to hoist my bicycle at 2 lifting points. Thank you very much in advance for your ideas/advise! Mark
Hello Monkon, could you please send us an email via info@portablewinch.com. You could add pictures or a drawing of your setup. We should then be able to help. Regards,
The use of pulleys to increase the pulling force will certainly give much more power. With two double pulleys, as you can see, it is possible to multiply the force up to 5x. Definitely a huge advantage when stuck in mud... Good luck!
Over the past week I've watched dozens of winch/snatch block videos and yours is the only one that clearly explains the process. Thanks much!
Thank you very much Dale! We try our best.
My 5000 arrived today thank you for great equipment.
Terrific instructional video ~ Thanks!
I watched your videos and learned a lot! Maybe I can help my husband bring home the firewood.
Tell me you're Québécois without telling me you're Québécois. (Awesome video btw)

Will this work if I was stuck in mud a serious question all jokes aside
