I like to make themed builds, currently I’m running Grace Of Gloom, Crimson and mighty chudan. I love the dark shadow and blood that you get from crimson.
i use necro tank for random dungeon groups all built around ult gain, major minor heroism, bloodspawn etc so i can res them with ult as they often die to mechs. is good saves time instead of wiping. for race though i prefer imperial and get the missing armor casting pierce armor every 5 sec for more armor dsa set
Great video! A few questions: -How come Mortal Coil isnt recommended? Heal over time, stamina+magicka recovery at no cost seems to be a great deal no? -You recommend using the Scribing taunt abilities instead of the Pierce armor which grants Minor breach. Wouldnt Minor Breach be important/must debuff for tanks to increase everyones dmg? (unless you already got it like warden with deep fissure ofc) -Would you never use major protection for harder HM'S content? I find it really helpful to have that buff on hartder content. So major protection from either Deaden Pain or Revealing Flare? (theres also the scribing skill but you cannot block while using it so i feel like it puts me in a tough spot) Looking forward to hear what you think. Thanks m8! :)
-it's just a beginner guide with a single skill setup, I'm going over all skills and multiple skill setups in my previous 1h30min guide, which I'm also going to update soon -Elemental Susceptiblity and Elemental Blockade provide 100% Minor Breach uptime -same explanation as 1st question
I find the coil doesn't do enough for sustain. For beginners I'd stay away from any of the tethers etc.. They're buggy and you need to know in what situation they may work or not.. I usually have flare slotted on the front bar for major protection... Indeed it helps with taking the big hits.
Is Beckoning Armor or the Void Bash sword+shield not worth using? I'm surprised they weren't mentioned, I feel like they'd be good options to use (at least for maybe dungeons or PUGs), no?
It's just a beginner guide with a single skill setup, Void Bash isn't mentioned because it's only good in trash and I'm not showing a trash setup here at all. If you need a more advanced guide then you should look at my previous Necro video which is 1h30min long, but I'll also be updating that one soon.
dumb question.. if I do not have the Sax Ice back bar yet, can I swap it with the druid's braid or the armor of the trainee? As long as I make it an ice staff?
On my favorite classes to tank with, super nice video ggs! Would have a request to make though my all time favorite classe to tank with and the funniest for me is nightblade but since i returned with u44 i am not up to date with everything yet and would LOVE a similar guide for a nightblade tank! + 1 sub
I'd recommend beginner tanks to start on Necro as it has "long legs", you'll continue learning new things all the time, where other classes are pretty stale and you continue tanking the same way. Though I'd recommend using a Redguard rather than a Nord because the sustain on Necro is horrible.
Wold you play the one bar spott every time you can (even in exp. Grups)? And i now its a neco guide but wold you play this spott there to instead of the Arkanist spott? You doing a good job keep going that way.
It used to be causr their stam sustain in particular was pretty bad, but with the various buffs theyve recieved and the magicka scribe chains I stopped noticing bad stam sustain.
best tanking guides online, thank you
My Favourite Tank class by far, the gameplay is so nice
Crazy I literally was just looking for necro tank builds
YAY! just started mine and loving it

@@Hyperioxes Did not know elemental blockade gave minor breach, Thanks!

@@HyperioxesI thought minor breach applied by wall was only a 4s duration when chilled is proced so ele sus could only do it with 53% uptime?
I like this too

It's coming at some point, but until then you can just look at my written guide for Nightblade - hyperioxes.com/eso-nightblade-tank-guide-and-build

Great Guide - i prefer the other Armor morph, though. As it pulls trash.

What one bar spot?
@Hyperioxes The Shield Throw Skill. sorry is not exactly a one bar spot I just meant to have 1 range spott skill instead 2 spot skills

Sustain on the Necro is utter *&%$#@#
great sustain i find 🤷♂

@@SnapX6 Scribing I guess could fix it. Don't have access to scribing yet.
