I watched the entire series and it was very well done. I was hoping to hear the guitar being played. Is there a video of that or did I miss it?

Hey I watched your series on your treadle lathe. I was about to build one using a lot of your design elements. Luckily I just happened to see the other one, not in the original playlist, where you broke it.
What did you end up doing about the flywheel hub arrangement? Any chance of a video about the fix?

I’ve been waiting for this final video. Looks so good. The many many coats of finish has it popping so nice. After watching every video in this series I’m sure I don’t want to build a guitar. You’ve laid out the steps and gave good info on where to get the jigs and hardware, but this isn’t for me. I’ll stick to furniture and I think I’m going to do a cedar strip canoe this summer.

For sure there is a lot of steps but when you break it down into specific tasks it’s not so bad!
Cedar strip canoe is definitely a project I would like to try someday!

Nicely done! I enjoyed the series a lot but I don't think I have what it takes to tackle a build like that.

did you hand carve the guitar neck? or did you use a radiusing jig?

    • @lastingbuild1373

Hand carved using rasps, planes and sandpaper!
