6th gen Celica instrument cluster/dash light bulbs change

Hi there!
Here's what I went through to change the dash light bulbs as they were either dead or they were not getting power from the contacts. Watch it all to see what type of bulbs you need and not make the mistake of buying online and not being sure what to purchase.

What size are the dash bulbs? I wanted to buy some but did not know what led size to get

If I remember correctly the ones I installed are W2.1x9.5d from OSRAM.

Sorry! It appears youtube didn't send me the notification of your comment. I remember that I ordered some bulbs online, but they were the wrong size and what I did was I took one of the bulbs from the cluster and went to a shop and matched the size. I will check as soon of possible to see if I still have some because I think I do and I'll come back with a reply.

The far right side just won't light up, what could be the problem? Tach and Speedometer sections light up fine, but the gas and temp section is a no go.

Your PCB might be faulty and the only solution might be a new instrument cluster. Try to get an electrician to check it.

Make sure you properly connect the cables at the back. The pointers shouldn't be affected by the LEDs.
