@@EditingPodcast my personal opinion/preference is to at least mention who you're talking to in the title. like your episode "asking the bear editors how they..." or "[major topic] w/[name of editor]" because the thing is!! y'all talk about big media projects which is GREAT but you have the underutilized angle of having the people BEHIND those things talk to you!! (and whom you're great at interviewing) any channel can make video essays on certain techniques or projects but I really highly recommend showing who you're talking to in the thumbnail as well; even if people don't know who those editors are, it associates a face to the project, and might clarify what kind of resource this is, you know?
I love the whole, how to edit from the creative perspective and not the, how to use premiere pro videos. It's so awesome to see how the pros do it to help my tiny little brain in the creative process.
i make music. i dont know anything about editing. but for some reason i'm hooked on this show. hearing people talk passionately about their art is always interesting
Thank you for the immense value and interesting information you guys provide. Thank you for not explaining effects you have only surface level knowledge about while trying to sell me your LUT pack.
Saving to watch later, but title reminded me that Neil Jordon said the editor of The Crying Game was from hong Kong whose English wasn't very good. His editing was completely based on the emotion of the actors eyes and faces
i appreciate the amazing episode, and also i kinda hate you for showing this awful cauldron scene so many times. maybe youre desensitized but persoanlly, it broke me.
They won't shame you for being vocal because you are somebody and a woman. You can say a set of words then I can say the same set of words... people want to argue with/challenge me. Most want to tit for tat rather come together... welcome to America
The best way to expand your editing is this channel
Agree , do you know any other thought ?
You guys always bring impressive guests behind such big projects. Love it!
and then they never market them effectively 8(
How do you think we can market better?

Man I love the sound design and construction in Shogun and finally this channel is covering it!
I really enjoyed this one especially the details of cutting the earthquake scene and building energy with those cuts.
I really love the Aika's studio!
