tuxguys All the Rat Pack movies sucked, they were about Frank having fun with his friends (he owned the movie studio that produced them), and you can see that in all the movies. Except this one, Frank Sinatra loved JFK, and during the filming of this he was assassinated, it nearly broke Frank, Dean and Bing didn't seem to care as much though. (Probably because they were Republicans)
Matter of opinion. I have one comparative problem between the two of them (and this may simply be a function of my age): In the original, it's entirely believable that Ocean (Sinatra) wants his ex back, because his ex is Angie Dickinson; in the remake, Ocean's (Clooney's) ex is Julia Roberts, and I can't imagine taking any risks of any kind to get HER back.
in this segment, Bing Crosby is the best element of the three singers, stylish, moves on stage with greater ease ... a great actor!

I actually thought "Ocean's Eleven," with the plot and it's development (especially the Cesar Romero stuff) was pretty clever.
tuxguys The newer one is much better
