Hi friends! Hope y’all enjoyed this adventure at Mt Rainier National Park. We were blown away by the beauty of it during the summertime. It truly is the perfect place to escape into nature with its glacier capped volcano, forests full of hiking trails, frosty blue rivers and waterfalls, and acres of wildflowers at paradise meadow. We only had one day to explore Mt Rainier, so let us know your favorites from the park if you’ve been and we’ll add them to our list during our next visit. P.S. Stay tuned next Sunday as we take off on our first international trip since you know when! #KeepGoingPlaces
My backyard playground!! By the way the rockeries u see on the way up and the bridges made of rock, My grandfather did those. He was a rock Mason and he used the rock from the mountain herself! It took him 2 years to complete. He bought property outside the park and he and grandma lived there until his job Ended . I spent all my childhood up there! I am very proud of the work he did.
Mt.Raineer looks absolutely beautiful ! What a stunning way to spend a day in close proximity to it on the trails & enjoying the crystal clear water. Nature showing off !
My Rainier truly is stunning! Such a beautiful place to get out in nature. We can’t wait to go back and explore more another summer. Glad you liked it, David!
Beautiful as always! Have been to comet falls, narada falls, christine falls, and did the dead horse trail and half of the skyline falls. As for the Comet falls we went all the way to the waterfall and the mist was amazing! This summer we are going back to Rainier to finish the Skyline trail and we will attempt to do the whole loop since we did it clock wise and missed Myrtle Falls. We only made it to Panoramic Point and turned around. I never get tired of MRNP!
This Outstanding Video Brought Back Memories. I Only Did That ( What You Did ) Once. Always Thought I Would Do It Again & Never Did. I Really Enjoy My Vacations To Seattle. Thought People Were Very Nice. I Always Find Water // Waterfalls Peaceful. Outstanding Peaceful From Start To Finish.
Thank you so much, Drew! So glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back some fond memories. We truly loved Seattle and the entire Pacific-Northwest of the US (especially in the Summer). Onto Canada now!
So beautiful! Reflection lake reminded me of Lake Matheson in New Zealand. Have decided my next trip to USA will now include Seattle thanks to you guys! Katie
Yay! So glad you decided to add Seattle (and Washington state) to your itinerary when you visit the US! If possible, try to visit during late July or August, which is the best weather (and sunshine) for the Pacific-Northwest. And, you're right, Lake Matheson is very similar to Rainier's Reflection Lake!
Glad you two were able to make it out to Rainier! Still one of our all time favorite national parks. Comet Falls was one of our first hikes when we visited years ago. Pikas are one of Helen’s favorite animals ❤️ Beauiful stuff! Excited for more Canada videos and of course Mexico too.
Mt. Rainier definitely surprised us! Incredible views, forests, hikes and waterfalls. Comet Falls was a fun little hike - more challenging when filming, but rewarding with the waterfall at the end. International travel is back! Looking forward to sharing them all!
I’ve been looking for a high neck sleeveless shirt that I love for 3 years. I’ve gotten lots that just aren’t what I’m looking for, but I love yours!! What brand is that? Or where did you get it from?
I've really been enjoying your US travel videos, my husband and I had a 48 state 6 month road trip planned in between moving countries and while we are a bit bummed that the pandemic put a stop to that idea, your videos give me heaps of inspiration of where to visit on shorter trips in the future when travel corridors open up. In the meantime, it's great to live vicariously through you guys! :) Side note: would love to see how you make some of your trail snacks in a future video - they all sounded amazing!
Oh, this is such a great compliment thank you! We’re always thrilled to bring a little travel inspo to people’s lives! I really do need to make a video or blog post about those recipes!
Beautiful and wonderful video!!! I think you guys captured a great day with your friends! Just an observation that I thought Ashley really likes cherries and cherry flavors but doesn't like cherry granola bars she makes. Fascinating exception!
Thanks, Del! Haha, that's a good observation. Ashley loves cherry flavors, but she doesn't like the oat bars because she has a texture sensitivity with food and cannot stand the texture of oatmeal. I on the other hand love those cheery oat bars!
Thank so much! Same! We need to spend so much more time out there - I feel like we barely got to see it on just a day trip. Thanks so much for watching ☺️
U out to try the Indian Henry’s trail. The trail starts right outside of Longmire. It’s about 6 hours up into a beautiful meadow with a creek running through it! Truly paradise!!!❤
We are staying in Seattle and want to do a nice exploring Mt Rainer. We want to rent a car and do these: Snoqualmie Falls, Mount Rainer (Nisqually entrance) they it’s better. Christine Falls Paradise Valley, Narada Falls & Reflection Lake. Do you think we can do this in a day? And how long does each take? Would love your feedback. Want to plan accordingly. Thanks
I love y'all's channel so much. Pls tag me if y'all ever create a Patreon account, I will be first in line. I just find your videos so helpful but also very relatable, realistic & motivating, even for people that don't want to travel full time. You inspire to enjoy the beauty in the world (or even the towns, nature, etc.) around us simply by sharing your journeys. And btw I love the stateside videos but I'd watch any of your content!
Wow, thank you so much for your kind words! It’s nice to hear this kind of feedback :) We’re so glad you’re enjoying our videos and the U.S. content. We’ll for sure let you know if we launch a Patreon program one day #keepgoingplaces
I love the PNW. I go every summer to spend time in the mountains. I try to spend as little time in Seattle as possible because it’s dirty. Mount Rainier NP is perfection!

Very nice! Love that waterfall. Seems like you guys had fun!
Thank you! The many tiers of comet falls and it’s height were impressive. Mt Rainier was a fun place to get outside and explore! Thanks for watching!
This is so awesome!! +1 fan here! ✌️

The pika was so cute! Looks like a beautiful walk, really enjoyed this one!
They are so tiny and cute! Thanks so much for watching!!
Going there next week. So excited 😊
How was it? Dangerous at all?
Soooo beautiful. Planning a trip there this year. What month did you film this please? Thank you so much.
Amazing content as always. I would love to know your chickpea salad recipe! The cherry oat bars sound wonderful too.
Thanks Keely! I’ll have to make a video or blog post one of these days about that salad - I get asked about it every time I make it! 😋
Absolutly amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Greeny with fresh air sure ☺️❤️
Greetings from Pacific
So beautiful! How long into the Comet Falls hike were you able to get those beautiful views of Chimney Falls? Thx!
beautiful!

What device did you use for filming? Its quality is very neat.

@@KeepGoingPlaces I get the texture sensitivity. Does this mean I watch too many of your videos to notice that? LOL.
Haha! Never too much!
So beautiful!!! We weren’t able to go to Mt Rainier when we were in Washington, but it looks awesome! Hope we can go back and visit ❤️
Thank so much! Same! We need to spend so much more time out there - I feel like we barely got to see it on just a day trip. Thanks so much for watching ☺️
What month did you travel? This was posted Oct 2021 but you mentioned it being summer. I was wondering if it's still very crowded in September.
Where can I get this group day trip of this place?
U out to try the Indian Henry’s trail. The trail starts right outside of Longmire. It’s about 6 hours up into a beautiful meadow with a creek running through it! Truly paradise!!!❤
Where is a good hotel (inexpensive but clean) to stay about 1/2 way between Seattle and Mt. Ranier?
We are staying in Seattle and want to do a nice exploring Mt Rainer. We want to rent a car and do these: Snoqualmie Falls, Mount Rainer (Nisqually entrance) they it’s better. Christine Falls

Do you need a pass or permit to enter Mount Rainier National Park, or can you just drive in?

what month of the year was this?
It would be late-summer(Aug-Sept). It takes that long for the snow to melt/meadows to bloom.
Do you have a recipe for your cherry bars?
Yes! It’s linked below. We sub the berry jam for cherry 🍒 preserves!

Legit came here for this adorable video and with the hope of grabbing this recipe. Got tons of great info and the recipe! Many thanks!
