Does this achieve anything different compared to a synchronous chair where the seat moves forward (rather than the backrest moving backwards)? How good is the footrest actually, compared to kicking up on an ottoman?

Tough choice - I love both for different reasons, but I would say, if you live in a colder place, this one… if you live in a warmer place and needed adaptability and ability to fold under desks easily, then the hinomi h1 would be my choice. It all largely depends on your individual situation!

The hinomi h1 pro v2 is a nice chair but not for me unfortunately the mesh was not comfortable enough i think it was too hard maybe because i had the gaming edition the black red one so i sended it back to hinomi now I'm looking at 2 chairs this one the newtral or the musso h80 pro I'm not sure yet its hard to decide well i hope i helpt you guys out :)
@wastedWizard509 I actually ended up buying the Newtral NT002, I found a coupon code and ended up being around $370 including the laptop tray, which is a nice feature. It's not fully broken into, it is comfortable although sometimes the lumbar support is a bit too much despite having tension and follow up adjustments. I spend about an average of 7 hours on my desk throughout the day, my a$$ ends up hurting but I wanna believe that's because it's too long to spent seated and not the chair in particular. I do love all the adjustments, arm rest could use some improvement surface wise (to make them softer), overall I'm happy with the purchase, materials seem durable and assembly is quite simple.
I bought a similar Newtral chair but without the footrest, but hardware might be similar. Try pulling the seat height adjustment lever out (away from you), then it can freely recline. Or you can push it back into 3 locking points (straight up, relaxed, sleep)
Can you lock the tilt at multiple angles, or just one? I believe the first version of this chair could be locked at 5 different angles, so I was wondering if they kept that feature. Thanks!
You can lock the tilt in about 5 positions for 6 months, then the tilt teeth break off and the back is free-tilt after that. another two months and the lift cylinder starts leaking... crappy chair.

We're two months late into their promised DELIVERY time, with no communication other than copy-paste replies & just found out that the product is available for 379$ on Amazon they said the pro will retail @ 519$ & it gets worse... Amazon will ship them Dec 1-6. Absolutely disgusting!

It’s a difficult one! I like both for different reasons. This is great for the innovations around the desk, and also the hybrid materials used, but then the hinomi with the adaptable arms and ability to fold is really handy!
Wish the pistons on this chair could be activated by games, imagine the force feedback on the back if you take a corner a little too fast in a racing game 🤣
Do they do a version that looks like a racing bucket seat, has one of those elastic fitted neck cushions and comes in an array of striking 'Gamery' colours? ...
