Masakazu Ito Performing "Vals, Op. 8 No. 4" by Agustín Barrios

Agustín Barrios (1885-1944) was a virtuoso guitarist from Paraguay, who also left a number of magnificent guitar compositions to the delight of today's guitarists worldwide. His pieces are generally very technical for performers, yet very enjoyable for the listeners because of accessibility of his thematic materials, diverse harmonic languages, and adaptation of different musical styles from Baroque period all the way to folk music of South America.
