- With 'Syntopia', Iris van Herpen explores the new worlds that arise within synthetic biology and the intertwining relationships between the organic and the inorganic. ʻSyntopiaʼ acknowledges the current scientific shift in which biology converges with technology and visualizes the fragility and power within.

What comes to mind: Sacred Geometry, Fractals. Simultaneously soft and angularly sharp - great balance between the two. Flowing, and some pieces look like they're part of the skin. I really love the shimmering blue gown - it's transcendent. I can imagine leaving that show feeling subtly elated.
God, I don't know what to say. This is definetly beyond 2019 fashion. It's art. It's pure art. Mesmerizing
So relieved you posted show on your own channel. Checked three other postings and the angles were horrible and you couldn't see any details. Your work is too expansively creative and details shouldn't be missed. Mind blowing and seductive as usual. Thank you for your inspiring work.

After I watched this brand’s factional show, no matter what other faction shows I was watching, I feel like they are lack of something.
These shows push up my beauty standard of clothes.
So alienesque, abyss-like, underwater deep...floating like jelly fish, shaped and gentleness of floating seaweed. Mind blowing collection.
These are stunning works of art.. Avant-garde that looks easy on the eyes.
So captivating...this is dark, feminine, powerful, soft, elegant, ethereal, psychedelic...wow

Oh my! The back of that coat dress, paused at 0:24...woah. Every time I'm blown into deep space nine and declare a garment to be my show-stopping favourite, another model appears in an even more astonishing design which is even more exquisitely crafted. Iris van Herpen shows are deeply compelling.
She is absolutely brilliant. He pieces are beyond other designers.
Watching the show is like drinking art with my eyes. I am sure attending the show must be mesmerizing. I think I would feel drunk and in a daze if I got to attend. I wish these amazing designers put up live shows like Disney or in Vegas so us lowly people can also go and watch.

Probably nothing. Iris uses very durable and flexible materials for the most part.

I can’t even count how many times I have watched this piece of pure artistry. So lulling before bed.
This is what you get to see when you put your heart and soul into something.
I can almost feel her energy.
Everything goes so well,
the dimmed light , the installation showing wave like movement above and even the music.
Also the head gear which had the face of the model arrayed all around her face. It's so unique.

It's not glass . The tubes are made with a 3D printer
No models move according to those tubes
One of the best collections I've seen before... It is Wonderfully Elegant, too much majestical, out of time

The transitions between color, materials. movements are beyond any artistic vision... The work involved , even with 3D printing is vast.. I am at awe of this brilliant mind, daring spirit, who on top of all seems to be very down to earth and humble... I am a fan! Iris Van Herpen is Designer's designer. The only one that had this title was te French designer Claude Montana. Iris surpasses him and everyone she has worked with. She is better than all of them put together...BRAVO! What a talent, whet a spirit, what determination!

I like her vision and esthetic. Very "under the sea realness". And I can appreciate the hard work that goes in2 all her designs. Now this is fashion. Imagine walking in2 the Met gala wearing 1 of these designs.
